I've just played the anticipated 1 vs 100 game, and to tell the truth, its a lot more than I expected. The party up system is great, the reporter is entertaining, and the whole atmosphere reflects a real-life, real-time game show. I have to give Microsoft major props for this one. The E3 Extended Play version was especially rewarding after watching the 120 minute Microsoft Press Conference. And believe it or not, me and a couple of friends actually had to communicate pretty enthusiastically to get each other to the top. We got to the top seven which is were we went a little "FFA" and of course I was the one to have the answer wrong. The question was who the voice actor was for the new Godfather game. I had no idea. Anyway, thoughts of the game?
Americans and their late beta... It was very fun, and I could see myself playing hour on end trying to win points. Try playing with like 50 friends.
I was playing with a group of four yesterday during the entire actual show, and then the extended play for an hour. I beat "The One" in the actual show with only seven people left one time. I really wish I would have actually won that Xbox Live Arcade game. :/
It's fun, but much too easy, the stats should have looked more like the E3 stats, with a Bell curve and only a couple hundred getting 20 right. Unlike the 30,000 who get the questions right in the normal play. I'm still shocked how many people didn't know what Pyrex is though.
I believe this has to be one of the most entertaining games on the marketplace to date. It definitely keeps me entertained for the entire two hours of game time. I really like how a majority of the questions asked are actually up to date, I had questions that relate to events that happened this month in June and last month. It's on every night this week, and I'll definitely be there every show. I do have to agree too that the questions were quite easy for the most part. What's really neat is that you can submit in questions into the game too, you just have to be lucky for the people running the game to choose your question. Here is the link if you would like to submit a question.
It was pretty cool and fun but I got fustrated when I knew an answer and I pressed the wrong button by accident.
