OK, so i've been wanting to buy the typing thingy you
plug into your controller, because typing anything the Xbox
default way sucks! It takes years to write a sentence,
and my friends like talking to me through MSN,
but i hate typing back cause it takes way too long...
    So is it worth it?
    I know it's around $39.99, or $29.99, idk, i get confused.
so i just wanted to get people's opinion, and maybe someone's
    that already has it...
    Thanks

Why talk on your Xbox? Why don't you just Appear Offline when you're on MSN? I personally think that it's a rip-off unless you plan to use your 360 as your computer.

    Its $30.

I got it because my mic broke and the pack came with one.

The mic that comes with it sucks though.

No, you must've gotten the core system, which only has the standard def cables, a wired controller....and the console. It has since been replaced by the Arcade system, which has been more.

Anyway, I'd suggest just getting a cheap USB keyboard. Yuo can get one for 10 bucks on newegg.com, and its full-size, not tiny. That's what I did.

Also, I use my usb keyboard for lots of stuff, actually. I do use it for Live Messenger, but only recently. However I always use it for messages since voice can sometimes be hard to hear. And for naming saved items in halo, it's helpful to have a keyboard.

    correct me if i'm wrong,
but i think this is how it goes:
    -Xbox Core ~$250
    -Xbox Premium ~$300
    -Xbox Elite ~$350

    it's probably wrong

-the core is the one that comes with the least stuff,
-the premium comes with console, cables and plugs,
1 controller, one headset, 1 month free live, 20 GB Hard Drive, that already comes with half of the meory being used
-the elite comes with everything the premium has, but in black,
and the hard drive is 120 GB

    something like that,
    they don't hate you btw
