I love how you made it so that cheaters couldn't shoot each other and get points, but instead rewards the person you beat with it.
Thank You to everyone who has commented! I am not retiring from forging, too many people like Airball... Look for new maps coming soon... as well as more "Death Sports" I will try to individually respond to each comment soon... when I get some more free time between university and map making. Thanks again... -DarthYoda19
I really liked this when I played it. I had more fun getting myself killed than being assassinated, obviously, but you still get points anyway. This is definitely a great map considering that you are a new forger.
Thanks I appreciate it.... also, on a side note... I am working on a map that shoots dumpsters at you but it keeps glitching... Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?
I downloaded this and played it with a few other players, we all had a blast. I think Sarge has a suicide-based game out that I also want to try out when I get the chance. Anyway after a few games we were in Forge throwing any silly little thing we could think of into your machine... spools (which got stuck), fusion coils (???... not my idea, they obviously don't work), a mongoose (fun because you can ride it all the way around many times before something goes wrong), you get the idea. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your game is simple, but was a hit with the guys I showed it to. It's nicely crafted, too, which I like.
i wonder how you make it so get points for dying......do you tweak the custom games settings for scoring?
I like it. Though it isn't the first game in which you try to kill yourself for points, it is the first I've seen that you compete with eachother in. I like the whole idea though. :squirrel_jaffa: Great job, very original. 8/10
Actually a really good idea and game. Seems like a lot of fun and this is the second time today that I will be downloading user created content. The world must be coming to an end. -Donuts
it is actually a good thing that assassinations give the other team 1 pt. This makes it so people don't just keep assassinating each other, instead of trying to get permission to get hit. nice map, will DL when I get the chance.
Truly original, I don't know how you guys come up with it all. I just played, sadly I don't have many friends so there was only 3 of us. Seemed to work fine though. Very good idea, and it would be a good game if I could get more friends. :squirrel_giggle:
There should be an easy way to work this out. I came up with a pretty crazy scoring scheme for one of my game types, and I used my math skillz to get everything to work out perfectly. Send me a FR (GT: a dumb cat) and we can mess around with the settings to see if something can be worked out. Oh, and it was a pretty fun map, too. --dc
Great map. I give a 5/5. Everone of my friends I've played it with has saved it. I think you should leave the assasination points the way they are (even if you find a way to change it) because there are a lot of people who're idiots, and this stops them from killing people. Can't wait for v2!
Thank you everyone for their feedback and comments! I would like to let everyone know that I am still working on more Death Sports but it is not proving as easy as I would have hoped. It is almost like Bungie doesn't want me to make Death Sports because there are so many glitches when it come to getting object to kill you. The soccer ball was my first attempt and that and now I see it was the EASIEST object to get to fly at you consistently without glitching. *sigh* I also have not had a lot of time to work on maps because I have been recording a podcast with some of my Xbox Live friends, called The Off Topic Gamers Podcast. If you would like to check it out while waiting for more maps I have included links. The game: 5/5 The map: 3/5 You REALLY need to sew up the holes in the arena. You have stairs galore and it's really easy to break. A friend and I spent half the time trying to kill ourselves, then the other half of the time breaking the map. But I love how it plays... JAKE.
