Beat Down/ Assassin = # of Melee?

    Well, one day I was bored and I looke at my Service Record to find out something funny. The number of Beat Downs + Assassins does not equal the number of melee kills I got. My Career Stats I have a total of 1688 Beat Downs + Assassins but it says I've only killed 746 people with a melee. I checked my friends' Service Records and found the same thing. Does anyone know whats wrong here?

    i dont think assasinations count as a melee kill. Im pretty sure only a beatdown counts.

    If so, then it says I have 1483 Beat Downs and 746 Melees... ???

    Hmmmm, ah yes those I forgot about. But it's still missing about like 20... and the Gravity Hammers sometimes kill peole without a medal.

    It's most likely a combo of regular, sword, hammer, and objective based items.

    It counts anything you get a Beat Down medal for. Assassination ? Beat Down, Flag Kill ? Beat Down, etc.
