MLG Lockdown Although it is a familiar, if not, a common term known by gamers, I give to you my version of LOCKDOWN (To let you on a little insight, this map was mainly focused on a solo swat based game play that I created.) this to can be downloaded of my file share Here is the link FOR SOLO SWAT: <a href="Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details a> The design of this layout is small, but is intended on bringing out the awareness in gamers. Like Construct, in this variant you might find that the radar is not always there for you when you need it most, although it can be helpful. The true question is, where exactly? With multiple hallways, three floors, and three rooms; one can only hope that their enemy is where they appear to be. To walk you through this layout, I will start you off on the bottom floor. The bottom floor leads to the lower hall in back starting from the “B” sign, as well as leading towards the central access way that links the center overpass and back lower hall. The Center overpass also leads to the main stairway and linking cages Hall leading to center overpass Center overpass looking towards back lower hall(main stair way to the right of picture) Lower hall Main stairway overhead view of main stairway (stairs to the left head towards third floor) Linking cages (these cages allow easy access to all three floors allowing players to sneak their way through) Getting to the middle section, The back lower hall has two stairways leading up towards the central main room and small hallway that links the central main room and the balcony that overlooks the bottom floor. Stairway leading to small hallway A look from the small hallway heading towards the center room, and the balcony that overlooks the bottom room A look at both stairways and the central bridge which heads toward the back upper hall center bridge hallway Now to the third floor. This is a picture of the stairway leading towards the third floor which can be accessed to the immediate left after coming up the main stairway The third floor is basically a sniper room allowing players to pick off others on the second floor, or if playing swat, just another good place to get a head shot. Third floor room The third floor also has its advantages by allowing you to cross over to the other side and down the linking cages as well as the back side teleported which will take you to the other teleport in the lower hall. Hallway facing coming from the linking cages facing the turn that will lead you to the teleport lower hall teleporter The weapons on this map are Shotgun Battle rifle Gravity Hammer Carbine Mauler Needler Spiker SMG Sniper Rifle Power ups None Equipment Plasma grenade Stick grenade NOTE: when playing solo swat, there will not be any weapons. Just you and your battle rifle <a href="Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details HERE</a>
Pretty cool! Some of it looks like the Subway level from Resistance 2, but that only makes it better! Oh, and by the way, you have the same 3rd Floor picture twice.
This map looks AMAZING! It may even be feature worthy. FFA on here looks like a blast and the interlocking fence boxes linking the three levels is genius(it reminds me of a McDonalds play structure...lol). I love FFA maps that are multi leveled just because the gameplay keeps you guessing and you have plenty of space to play on. Overall-5/5
This map is very nice. Looking at the screenshots, I don't really get that feel of "this is just some forged map". It actually seems like some building that you might find out there in the Halo world. The upper room with all the windows is my fav. The only thing that I dont really like about it is that there seem to be alot of fusion coils, but I'll get over it.
looks and plays amazing, but be a little more creative with the name next time, there are lots of lockdowns out there (mlg lockdown, ...)
It really seems like a lot of thought and effort went into this map; it doesn't give off that 'thrown together' vibe that you get from a lot of maps. The scattered crates and barrels help build the correct atmosphere, and the confusion resulting from multiple floors with the motion tracker seems similar to that of Construct, except that game-flow on this map isn't common knowledge. The bottom line is that this map is very well made, and it is possibly featureworthy. 5/5.
