Woodrow my newest map may be the best themed conquest map sence Socratic Method. It is a rather small map featureing little huts built up in the trees. I've spent a lot of time on this makeing everything astheticaly pleasing yet still a good over all map to play on. The main territory is a large tree fort in the center. The map will be posted sometime this week but it needs to be tested.
This is epic. This could be a VERY fun map. The only potential problem I see is that the bridges from island to island are a bit too thin. Maybe make them half the width of a wooden bridge thicker?
I agree. This could be very fun. It looks kinda short though, maybe make it longer? Th theme is cool. Be sure to add railings. I can't wait see how it turns out. I hope I get a chance to play it then. I can't say much more until then.
Minimal amounts of Guard Rails on the bridges perhaps? Other than that this looks fantastic. Looking forward to getting a game on the finished map.
I like the idea of having a block where the territories are so that people can seek limited cover behind them. Should also make for some funny film clips of people chasing opponents around the territory, trying to kill them. If you're going to make those wooden bridges thicker, you may also want to make the edges of the bridges fan out a bit to avoid careless players bumping into the platform from the bridge and subsequently falling.
okee ive finished the map there are rails at the basees the exit to the base has been widend and on the path from first to second territory ive installed footrails which are short short handrails thatyou cant fall off of
Looks like it would be real fun. Did you put footrails/guardrails everywhere? i wasnt really sure by what you said. i assume not, to make a few hazardous places. and your thread attracted me because the name of your map happens to be my last name.
Intiresting suprisingly it reminds me of Star wars on ewok due to them looking like the platforms up in the trees. yea...
haha that was kindof what i was going for and the footrails are only on the left path in the third picture and the right path has been widend
