I don't see this being able to fit more than 4 people, but this still looks incredibly fun and original. I love the explosion, never been done before this way. I will dl this, no questions asked.

    5/5

Thank you all for your great thoughts and input, and most of all, the downloads! I may even come out with a V2 with some of these ideas in mind...

You need high damage to be able to destroy pallets. The players are invincible, the only ways to kill them are assassination or dropping them into the pit.

Regarding the map: It seems simple yet intuitive, and the gametype seems to fit the map. I'm wondering about two things, though... First, what causes the 'eruptions'? Secondly, are the hill points smaller than the arena, forcing players to move around to continue to score? If so, that seems a bit better than having the hill fill the arena.

One issue that seems likely is the possibility of a very large number of pallets being constantly destroyed by either the eruptions or by a killjoy who constantly shoots them out, preventing people from spawning on solid ground. Is this an issue, or is there something in place to prevent it?

Either way, this map does look interesting, and I'll probably DL after my 360 is back. It appears to be well planned and constructed, and the only issue I can forsee would be due to griefing players, rather than a bad map. I'm going to wait until I can playtest it, though, before I actually rate it.

definite dl mate, its looks fun, very imaginative and can be greatly expanded for a v2

couple a things to add or try: equipment to spice it up, maybe after 3 mins a rocket spawns to end the game and if you have gameplay issues try the same idea but with Insta-Death Teleporters.

I rated 5 stars as it looks fun, its attractive and i couldnt be bothered making a map like this so 5 stars n stripes

Okay, I play tested it a while ago, it's so much fun, but the only problem here really for me is that you really can't see the where the hill is. Mind you, it was still very fun, but that little problem made it not as great as it should. My favorite on this, is swords. Just FFA swords. So much fun, especially when you're fighting and suddenly the ground underneath you blows up.

I personally thought that the map didn't play as well as I thought it would. People were constantly hurrying to the place that you couldn't get destroyed and kept assassinating each other. Part of that came from that they didn't know where the hill was. Definitely something you should fix in a v2. Nice idea, but i haven't seen it carried out very well here.

It looks like a very initiative map,
Its like a reinvented hobo heights.
Maybe you could get some good shots of the eruption as that would be fairly nice to see.
    Especially with interesting action.
