Shadowed Sands Creator: T4K Shadow (Destroyer7793) Map: Skybubble, Sandbox Players: 1-8 Gametypes: Any RACETRACK varients Budget remaining: $0 Time Taken: Around 12 hours (ish) Shadowed Sands in my latest, and best racetrack. After finally learning how to do banked turns smoothly (but not as smooth as ShaddoBlades) I worked on this track. It features several banked turns, a smooth rising hill. One of the main aspects of this track while I was building it was aesthetics, I've seen so many awesome track, without any aesthetics, for me, aesthetics play a big part in racetracks. ALthough its not the longest racetrack in Halo history, it isnt the shortest. Okay, now that the description is out of the way, its time for the pictures, huray! Thanks. That blue circle structure is 4 corner small interlocked from each corner. I think it looks awesome. And I'm sorry to hear that, I remember when I had that, then I got a new one, yay.

track looks cool and smooth,but the warthogs ruined it. They can just ram the mongooses off the track easily.
First off, I love these types of race maps, but the tracks all seem the same to me due to lack of aesthetics. Yours on the other hand has an extreme amount of originality. I absolutely LOVE the tunnel and the centerpiece within each loop. Truly Feature worthy!
I like how this track continues, and I don't really have to state the obvious (Love the aesthetics okay?) But why did you plop the warthogs down! This map is a great racetrack map, keep making them. I'll test this later with my friends, we like messing on race maps to try and play a knockout game with warthoged gauss cannons...
Hey, another excellent map T4K! Very smooth, very racy (I find the map facilitates much overtaking), and very aesthetically pleasing. There are the odd bumpy bits here and there, but I have no idea how one would go about smoothing them. However, I did find a killer shortcut, which I've managed to capture in a series of images. Otherwise, congratulations on another awesome map.
Thanks for showing me that, the first jump down I will have to block off, but when you jumped down to the lower bit (by the tunnel) it would be pointless, because you would miss the finish line, resulting in no point for finishing the lap. Thanks anyway! And by the way, should I remove the hogs? I added them to give people the choice, But I'll remove them when I fix the cheat route as shwon above ^
First your map is very good, i love the tunnel and the helix, one bad thing is the goal point. You have no grav lifts or man cannons on it which make it cheatable, but sides that i give it 4.1/5
This was an okay racetrack, definitely good for someone who's just starting out. Honestly, the circle turn kills the whole map. It is a very hard turn to make because you have the bank leaning towards the outside of the turn. The point of a banked turn is to make the turn easier to make. I would suggest banking that turn the right way, or at least making it flat. Other than that, the track was a very nice start for someone who just learned how to make banks smoothly.
I've ran put of grav lifts, and budget. The only way I could do that is if I deleted some things, such as?? Ill fix it in my V2, along with the cheatproof wedge I am adding. Thanks for pointing that out Ever heard of originality? Maybe I wanted my track to be different?? Plus the fact that there are shield doors, Use them stratigically and that turn can be done extremely fast. Thanks anyway. Sorry if I come across as an @sshole , It just annoys me when I try and be different, then get moaned at for not being in the herd with you sheep.
Okay look. I was suggesting something. I'm glad you tried to do something original, it's getting a lot harder to that now-a-days. But sometimes, original ideas tend not to work very well. This is a case of that. You don't need to get all worked up about it. Learn to take suggestions man.
this track is very fun and is going to be a great addition to the growing track list of the racing league I'm helping run.
This looks like a really good map... I can see where there might be some bumps but I would have to play it later today to see for sure... i've been into CoD WaW for the past 2 weeks and have neglected halo lol.... but omg halo reach and ODST made me jizz my pants lol... The asthetics do looks very nice too... although you might want to get rid of warthogs as they don't work with this type of racing man... for now 8/10 till I can play it =) EDIT now: I have now played it... further review commencing! This map sort of reminds me of a mini rollercoaster lol mainly becuase it doesn't get that high of the ground... good: The interlocking is done well... the asthetics are epic... it has an interesting layout things to improve: From the flat part transition to the first bank it annoys me mainly becuase it isn't all that smooth... the pictures make it look really smooth but that bump is annoying, it isn't much but it could be easily fixed with like one object... Yes please remove the warthogs becuase they suck lol... and it is not uncheatable and trust me people will always cheat and sit in the destination no matter what you do.... and another bump is near the end of the first bank it turns a sharper than the rest and doesn't keep the flow... (i'm being really picky here becuase I try to make people better and you have forged many racetracks recently...) Other than that good map... my review... 3.8/5
