Has anyone gotten the new UFC game? If so, how is it? I tried the demo and liked it but im not sure if i want to go out and spend money. I think it will get boring after a while.
Its a very good game. I definitely believe it is worth the $60 dollars. There are plenty of fighters across all five weight divisions. There is a bit of a learning curve and it will take you a while to fully get the dynamics down, but I enjoy that and welcome it as a fun challenge. Career mode is probably the best I've seen in a fighting/wrestling game as you really have to manage your own fighter, picking your own battles, training/sparring, resting, choosing sponsors, interviews/photoshoots, etc. etc. etc. Also, on-line is actually very good as well, albeit there are already a number of record-grubbing quitters out there. Do you have any friends that play the game as well? That's another big plus for me because I have like half of my high school, including my entire group of friends in my neighborhood, playing the game and it gets quite competitive and fun. Plus, we have big weekend showdowns which are always a blast. So I definitely believe it is a good buy. If you've ever bought another fighting/wrestling game for $40+ and can justify it to yourself, than you won't be disappointed here.
