The Devil Wears Prada? Oh, and has anyone seen that website that gives you movies/songs/bands based on a certain preference you type in? I forgot what that was. A link would be helpful.
Are they one of those screemo bands cause i think ive heard them before if they are there are quite a few just give youtube or something the genre and you should find some stuff.
Call The Devil Wears Prada screamo again, I will find you and do bad things. The correct term is METALCORE. Bands that play a similar style as TDWP: In Fear and Faith; Underoath; The Word Alive; Eyes Set to Kill; Sky Eats Airplane; Of Machines; Emarosa; I Set My Friends On Fire; Johnny Truant; Watchout! Theres Ghosts (Okay, maybe not these guys but they make some sexy ****.) And for the record, BMtH and Sucide Silence are Deathcore. That's a whole different side of the Core spectrum.
Indeed, Pandora is what you're looking for. Just start up a station with the artist you want, and then it'll keep adding similar stuff. Then you just thumbs up/down to give it a really good idea of your preferences.
I think Job for a Cowboy, and Lamb of God, are kinda like Devil Wear Prada. Pretty close, I like LoG obviously most though.
Haha you'd get along with my cousin quite well sir; he loves this stuff. Another band you didn't mention that I can think of right now is iwrestledabearonce oh and Dance, Gavin Dance kinda follows the same guidelines too.
Its a combination of two genres... its not supposed to just be a funny name for you to get your jollies. Metal + Hardcore = Metalcore. heres some of my favorites: All That Remains As I Lay Dying Still Remains In Flames Catherine Winter Solstice The Agony Scene
Arn't metal and hardcore pretty much the same... ... And wouldn't that mean that "metalcore" is really just hardcore turned down, which is, in fact, metal? Besides, what KIND of metal do they combine with hardcore?
im sorry mate, i dont know what this kind of music is but... if u fancy something like it try searching the genre into Last.fm - Listen to free music with internet radio and the largest music catalogue online but really, why listen to Deathcore. lighten up, try some Daft Punk, some dubstep.
i think theres confusion with most of the youth today on what "hardcore" is. metal and hardcore are very different.
As far as i'm concerned, hardcore is basically taking what rythem and structure metal has and getting rid of it. Really, they use the same instruments and sound very alike, so they can almost be classified as the same thing.
Wow. Whilst looking at that list I noticed that I have seen ever single one of those bangs live. I saw ISMFOF live like 5 times, and I am going to see them again at warped tour.
