This is my first new FH theme (there is at least 1 more on the way), and I would say it is decent. It might be a little cluttered, but oh well. Spoiler CnC please. Oh, and just to settle this at the beginning, it has a small file size because the entire thing minus the header is made of up 7 100x100 px textures that repeat to fill the entire screen.
I would say its better than mine, nicely planned out with the textures and all. Although, I do have to say that its very small and hard to see what you text and things like that look.
Thanks! I didn't notice that Photobucket had made my image so small... The text is straight from FHX, except that every forum description has been changed to black font. If you want I could break it into multiple screens and upload that way, so it wouldn't be resized as much.
I'd say this is my favorite so far! I'm glad you made it Sandbox related because that's the newest forging map and since this is a forging site... The colors are great too, but the log-in text seems difficult to read. Maybe it's just the size. Can you upload a larger picture?

Maybe remove the textures in the places with smaller text.... I dunno, I'm not experianced enough to make a valued judgement on skin making.
I have made the main backgrounds much lighter, and now all of the blue text is black with an underline. I will post new pictures when I have applied these changes to the entire skin.
Ok, I will try that too. My PSD is set up so that everything has its own layer, so the text color is superimposed over the text, and the same thing with the texture color, so I can really make a bunch of different versions very easily and post them. Nice theme but it most likely wont get used as the new default , the snadbox theme is okay but it doesnt really feel halo 3 to me more like a fossil digger site or something
Very good theme. the only thing i would change would be the orange glow on the monitor. imo it would look better if the monitor was looking kind of more upwards and there was no orange glow. you could make the monitor appear like it was made of bronze or something though.
