Grid By: Deetroid [br] Supported Gametypes: Slayer [br] Map Description This is a remake of the map Grid which appeared in PD64, my first foundry map. Works as intended with the perfect dark gametype which has explosives removed to prevent getting out, and 200% gravity to minimize jumping. EDIT: it's meant for like 2-6 players and either team slayer or free-for-all. forgot to mention that. Re: Perfect Dark remake: Grid It looks simple, but good. I guess good maps don't have to be complex. I commend you for a great first post however, it is great you are already embedding and have all else in order.

Re: Perfect Dark remake: Grid Maybe if you had a lot of teleporters and weapon holders you could just maybe pull of the pallet bridge :squirrel_wtf: but i dont know if you'd have enough... Well anyways great post you are one of the rare "don't have to tell them to go back and redo post" kinda person. We can just call you D.H.T.T.T.G.B.A.R.P. Awesome looking map. It reminds me of a map of of Redfaction. hope to see more. =D

Re: Perfect Dark remake: Grid Ah Perfect Dark, brings back memories. I struggled to remember this map at first, but it came flooding back. This is the map where I always thought the corridor, pillars and elevator reminded me of the matrix lobby scene, I can't remember which came first though, this map or the matrix, hmmm. Anyway nice recreation. P.S maybe making the 2nd floor out of fence walls would've been the closest thing to the glass, that way you could've shot through at least. The pallet idea someone else mentioned would also have been really good. Version 2 maybe?
Re: Perfect Dark remake: Grid For a first map on FH, you could do much, much worse than this. This map looked actually fun to play in a slayer or team slayer variant, not too many power weapons, a variety of other weapons, no constantly exploding fusion coils. The only problems were three things. 1: I can has Grenades? 2: It was a little bit sloppy, try interlocking from Forging 101 3: Some bits need to be blocked off better. But I look forward to seeing a more complete form of this map.

I loved Perfect Dark and this is a really great map. A suggestion though for the glass floor. True pallets wont stay on their own. But have you ever played the Hobo Heights Map? They used teleports and weapon holders to hold the pallet platform up while it got shot up with the Laser. I think this could work for you. Try it out.
