    Take lessons?

Well, it depends on your style. I play synth in addition to bass, so I have a little experience. If your playing actual piano you might want to get some real knowledge of the instrument if you want to sound good. However, I( know when I play synth I don't have to play extreme parts, just loose, airy, 2112 intro types of things.

I would listen to some songs that could be played over piano. Most can. Then I would try to play it by ear or by downloading sheet music. Try using classical music as starters. ? Idk. Is it rock? Try doing what I suggest with rock songs.

Search Youtube for videos of how to play songs. I'll post some songs with different techniques that will give you some of the basics. Piano is mostly just muscle memory.

YouTube - How to play What I've done by Linkin Park on Piano part 1

YouTube - How to play Apologize by One Republic on the Piano

Don't worry if you can't play things to the right speed initially, just work at your own pace. When you start needing to get things up to speed, focus more on getting to the position as fast as you can and don't worry if it necessarily sounds good.

Those songs might be a little bit advanced, but with a little determination it shouldn't't take you too long.
