The Underground Are you brave enough to make it through the underground tunnels? This is an assymetric map on ghost town. The thing that makes this map unique, is that the entire map is enclosed. In order to really understand how the map works, we need to look at some pictures. Defender's base [/URL] [/URL] Attacker's base [/URL] [/URL] Bottom tunnel [/URL] Top tunnel [/URL] Rocket launcher [/URL] Shotgun [/URL] Overshield [/URL] There are two bases in the map, connected by a bottom and a top tunnel. The bottom tunnel is the more direct, shorter route. And the top tunnel is the longer path. The bottom tunnel holds an active cover, which can be used to block off the tunnel. The top tunnel holds the over sheild, an equal distance between each base. The defender's base has a rocket launcher, and the attacker's base has a shotgun. The map works well with 4-10 players, ans supports the ffa, slayer, King of the hill, capture the flag, oddball, and assault gametypes. Download: The Underground Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details
This is one of the better ghost town maps I've seen so far. The only thing that I can see that could be improved on is that the forging is a little messy (or maybe it is supposed to be like that, I don't know) Unfortunatly, I choose to not play on any Ghost Town maps as a general rule, so no DL but a well earned 6/7
Yeah, the uneven ground in ghost town did make some of the forging dificult, but it does play smoothly. No DL though. That's too bad. The map plays totaly different from regular GT but it's cool if you don't wanna play it.
