So I posted yesterday, but I guess the server was having problems. Anyways... Heres the link: TIE Hangar This map features a slightly larger than scale TIE Fighter (space craft from the Star Wars series) positioned symmetrically between two bases. This map started as being purely aesthetic but when I didn't have the materials to finish the wings as I had intended, I made it a playable map to shift a bit of focus off of the TIE fighter. All symmetrical game variants should work... ("should" being heavily emphasized) and 2 Flag CTF is actually suprisingly fun to play. Side View Back View Bases On a side note... the only reason this post is even on here is because rusty eagle found my failed thread on bungie and convinced me to register on Forge Hub and post. I would have just gave up trying to show it off, but thats because I don't have any patience.
Thanks... I'm extremely new to the whole forum thing... not so new to forging though I'll start posting a lot more of my maps if people like this one. (And I'll know how in the future)
This looks really good. I know how hard it is to make even remotely spherical things, but you've pulled off the tie fighter really well.
Absolutely incredible! It's so well done and so clean! Give yourself a pat on the back. On another note, I was wondering if you ran out of items for the wings or if you just ran out of budget.
Thats a really good job...Do you have any more asthetic maps? Maybe you should apply for Mason sometime in the future...
Ran out of walls! /growl I wanted them to look a lot more filled in... but I couldn't do that so I filled as much space as I could with what I had and tried to make it look appealing. I threw some fence walls on top too to give em the illusion of being taller.
This is one of the best star wars map ive seen. Can you go inside and walk from wing to wing? Or do you just fall into the bottom part?
No you dont fall into the bottom, there is a floor placed right below where you see the front window in the screen shots. I originally had made it to where you could walk through the wings as they are hollow, but changed my mind and put 2 teleporters in the back behind a wall corner seperating them from the cockpit. These lead into the wings where a rocket launcher and fuel rod gun are stored.
Is this a money-glitched map? If its not may i borrow it for the cubular thing as the cockpit for a map im working on?
No, its not a money glitched map, and yeah you can borrow it, just make sure you cite me for it. By the way I still have a save where I have the full sphere (without the window) if you want that, but I'm guessing you need the window, which is fine too.
Wow this just looks amazing, and epic. My mouth seriously dropped from looking at the pictures. I don't really want to know what will happen when I play on it, but trust me I will find out.
