You know the part where Riddick is in the prison which looks like a giant mineshaft (Crematoria), well, its based on that. Whilst Riddicks in the prison, there comes a moment where all the prisoners start to run around screaming "feeding time!", locking themselves in cells and hiding in holes in the ground. Moments later, these red rat-tiger things come charging out, trying to eat them. This map is based on that. Immune to headshots = Unchanged (NO!) Weapons & damage Damage modifier = Unchanged Primary weapon = Energy sword Secondary weapon = None Grenade count = None Infinite Ammo = Enabled Weapon pickup = Disabled Movement Speed = 110% Gravity = 50% Sensors Motion tracker mode = Enhanced Motion tracker range = 150m (yes, thats admittedly a bit large) Appearance Active camo = Unchanged (NO!) Waypoint = Unchanged (NO!) Forced colour = Red Human Traits Shields & health Damage resistance = 100% Shield multiplier = Normal Shield recharge rate = 100% Shield vampirism = Disabled Immune to headshots = Disabled Weapons & damage Damage modifier = 100% Primary weapon = Magnum Secondary weapon = None Grenade count = Unchanged (representing custom made charges) Infinite Ammo = Disabled Weapon pickup = Enabled Movement Speed = 100% Gravity = 150% Sensors Motion tracker mode = Off Motion tracker range = Unchanged Appearance Active camo = Off Waypoint = Visible to Allies Forced colour = Off Scoring Zombie Kill points = 3 (if you manage to kill a feeder (unlikely)) Infection points = 1 Last Man Standing Bonus = 5 Suicide Points = -2 (everyone in Crematoria is too hardened to commit suicide) Betrayal Points = -1 General Settings No. of rounds = 10 Time Limit = 1 min Lives Per Round = 1 Friendly Fire = Enabled Betrayal Booting = Disabled Next Zombie = Random Weapons on Map (It stands to reason in a triple Max Security prison there'd be a few guns) Assault Rifle x1 - Respawn = 60s, Spare Clips = 0 Mauler x2 - Respawn = 60s, Spare Clips = 0 Shotgun x1 - Respawn = 60s, Spare Clips = 0 SMG x1 - Respawn = 60s, Spare Clips = 1 Sentinel Beam - Respawn = 60s ~~~ The Cells There are (as far as I can remember) 9 cells on the map; 4 on the bottom floor, 3 on the middle floor & 2 on the top floor. These all close after a certain amount of time, to represent the prisoners sealing themselves in. THIS IS HOW YOU SURVIVE. If you try and kill the Feeders, unless they are completely useless, YOU WILL DIE. The cells on the top floor close after 20s. The cells on the middle floor close after 30s. The cells on the bottom floor close after 45s. The closed cells are closed by fence walls, though, so the Feeders can still get you through them if you aren't careful. Pictures of the Map Overview 1 (bridges removed) Overview 2 (bridges removed) Human Spawn Feeder Spawn - the Feeders spawn right behind the Humans. You have about 2 seconds to run. This is intentional - it adds to the suspense. ie RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! The Starting Sprint The Hole - this is a hole. Feeders can jump out of it but humans cannot. Don't fall down. The Sideways cell - this is a "crowd favourite", so to speak. Safe! - this is the glorious scene when you have escaped the Feeders - especially a Feeder as annoying as the Feeder in the picture. The Beam in action - the only weapon which could possibly hope to kill the Feeders. I'm not telling you where it is though. Too easy. Action Shots He's chasing you! Cut down... Stupid Zombie no.1 Stupid Zombie no.2 - this human actually survived Stupid Zombie no.3 - trapped. This happens more often than you'd expect. Stupid Nubcake pt.1 Stupid Nubcake pt.2 - This is why you run. Show no Mercy pt.1 - A teabagging zombie with the last human... Show no Mercy pt.2 - the human makes a break for the tunnel cell... Show no Mercy pt.3 - the human escapes! @notanoobforger: It was meant to look messy, A) because it was messy in the movie and B) I can pretend that I did this on purpose and that I'm a good forger really . Yeah, I will eventually do a v2 (after exams finish in a few weeks), as long as I don't press End Game instead of Start New Round accidentally- that happened an infuriating amount of times... -MQ
OMG I know what you mean. Anyway I really love the idea for this map. For infection I personally don't care if it's perfectly made, as long as its easy to move around in. The perfectly forged thing applys more to competitive maps because people tend to blame the map everytime they die and perfectly forging it makes it so they can only blame themselfs.
Looks interesting, I've always loved maps with timed safe areas. Maybe make a v2 at some point on Sandbox, possibly with another level? If I ever get my 360 back, I'll DL.
