I dont know if this is the correct section, but i have been wondering this for a while. I want to post a map, but i want it to have the name of the map on the screenshot of the map. I dont know if im making much sense, but i have an example. This isnt my map http://www.forgehub.com/forum/mlg-maps/71926-blue-abyss.html But just look at the screenshot that says the title of the name, i just want to know how to do that, any idea's how?
Wow, you got this far so im surprised you have never heard of image editing 3D graphic design software, 3D graphics software | Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended Download the trial and gogle photoshop tutorials, or if you a lazy *****, request someone else to make you one..
Any kind of coloring or editing software would work. Even paint. Although, I really reccomend photoshop, to get nice effects(e.g like for signatures) EDIT: And no, this is not the correct section... Either customer service or graphics maybe.
Photoshop, but it's a pretty expensive program. For simple writing, just use paint. You can download fonts practically anywhere on the internet, but a fair place to start is 1001 Fonts .com . You could also ask anyone with Photoshop to make one for you. Infact, if you want, I can make one for your map - if you have one ready to post. Even if you don't have one ready to post, actually. Just ask, I have too much spare time, all the time. (although exams are coming up, and that might actually make a major, really major, cut in the time I have to spend). Here's an example of what I made. Spoiler It's overly crowded, but I think it's still pretty nice.
Photobucket is really simple to use and probably the easiest next to paint. Idk why you would buy pjotoshop just to put text on a pic...
The GIMP Inkscape My 2 favourite programmes. Both free, and can do anything photoshop can do between them. For adding just text, use Inkscape. Use The GIMP for more artsy things like recolour your images.
You wouldn't. You'd buy photoshop for the nearly limitless possibilities it offers, along with neatly placing text on an image.
