imagine being able to spawn untis during forge, and in units i mean brutes, elites, grunts, hunters and even flood. think of the endless possibilities here, this could very much be one of bungies greatest hits yet! and a new era in forging!
i know many of u must have thought about this before, so plz, plz omment.

Yer I have for ages but I have also noticed a pattern. When Bungie creates a new map they will not add stuff like death barriers because that would mean they have to edit forge. They simply create an object that does it, such as the kill ball. So when you want to create an AI you would most likely want to tweak it's settings, such as what weapon it has, if it attacks you or only the other team. So if Bungie does do something like this it will be a simple uncustomisable object such as 'Grunt - Aggressive'. But as I said don't get your hopes up.

Honestly I think the coolest thing were if you could have objects move in set paths. This could make rollercoasters that you ride, subway stations, swirling objects for fun in midair, a drawbridge for castles, some insanely hard obstacle courses with spinning blocks. Even more endless possibilities.

What you are thinking of would be more for designing your own 1-player game....which actually would be sick.

If Bungie ever made a game that's completely about forge, I would buy it instantly.

yeah, i guess, then this probably should be limited to making ur own kinda campaign. not really on xbox live. but the connections for xbox live are a lot slower then ps3, and its also free.

why disagree, everyone wanted a death barrier and they got a crappy kill ball. They will only give you objects to work with, and that's the truth. Unless they classify AI as scenery then I believe it won't happen. And it would be crazy if you had a complicated map. Put an AI in a puzzle map for example, it would probably walk into a corner. Perhaps with Halo 3: ODST they will give a more advanced level editor than forge.

If you could forge in Campaign levels, and set goals, missions, starting points as well as units (more than just enemies - allies, pelicans, and so on), weapons, default forge pallet (scenery) for every mission.

Then they'd still have to allow us to distribute it.
    Imagine!
Campaign'd be 100x as replayable as it already is.

1 Custom Content Campaign would fill a File Share's space, if not a pro subscriber's file share's space. It would count as like 20 of your 100 custom items.
