1) Sidewinder, Boarding Action, Hang 'em High 2) Midship, Sanctuary, Ascension 3) Orbital, Narrows, Guardian I feel like I am leaving so many out by only listing a top three for each game. I also think it's funny how I liked the bigger maps in CE, but began liking smaller ones after that. It really symbolizes the conversion from system link parties to matchmaking.
If I had to pick a top 10 1) Lockout 2) The Pit 3) Ivory Tower 4) Terminal 5) Blood Gulch 6) Rat Race 7) Beaver Creek 8) Guardian 9) Wizard 10) Prisoner But really every halo 2 map was awesome (except snipers on waterworks, ughhh) and practically every halo CE map. Really Halo 3 maps are the worst of the seriest with the exception of The Pit and Guardian. Assembly has potential but the coloration is god awful.
It's the definition of a map you can easily spawnkill on... Far too easily. Then again, the Halo 1 spawn system failed. People keep asking for a remake, but the experiënce will never be the same, mainly because the spawning was far too simple on that map. Anyhow, my favourite map.. is... Hmm. Valhalla. I dunno, I just like the feel of it. I like that map a lot, actually. One of the first I ever played (on H3..).
