    This will be my last team based map for a while as I have decided to focus on maps specifically designed for free for all games. ASTATINE is a two base symmetrical map on the ground level of sandbox which is designed for larger team games as well as large free for all games. Having been set up for all gametypes ASTATINE offers a variety of gameplay styles. When playing team games it 8-10 players provides the best level of gameplay.

    This map looks quality. Don't think I have helped you test this one, but it looks awesome and a nice difference from your usual FFA maps. I expect balanced gameplay from your usual sound weapon layout. We shall see, I'll download and take a look. From what I can see: 4.5/5

    This looks awesome, as do all the maps from you which I've seen (the last one was in the Crypt, I forget the name). But this looks truly awesome, Ima DL, have a forge-through and tell you what I think :) From here, the forging looks amazing (in the sense that it is all perfect), and the layout looks well thought out and planned. 4/5
    EDIT: Wow. Loved the middle structure laser, needler spawn. The use of those tube pieces was awesome ! I just had a look through on TS and CTF, how come there are so little starting spawn points ? (If I'm just being dumb don't answer the question). From what i've seen weapon placement looks very efficient and I can imagine gameplay will flow awesome(ly). My final comment is the aesthetics, good job ! looks awesome. YOu can jump up to top mid if you pick up the brute shot, and twinned with ovy and the regen below it, may be an issue, but not one that's too worrying.. I don't think I can actually criticize this map, well done :)

    This looks like a very solid map. The symmetry looks very nicely done and the layout is nice. I like how you put the tiny hill in the middle because it adds a small amount of cover that could really change gameplay up. Forging looks nice and I like the design of the bases; they're simple but nicely executed. Queued for download.

    Oh and Rhenium looks promising also.

    Wow good to see it posted at last! Love the perfect symmetry and how balanced it plays great map 5/5! Seems very balanced lazer balances warthog nicely. However i'm still not keen with the pyramid structure and feel that needs to affect the gameplay in some way.

    I like the map a lot. The base structures are intuitive and well forged. There is a quality aesthetic, and the weapon placement is good. I noticed that you did not allow much access to higher ground. Have you tried this? It may unbalance the map, but the bridge in the middle and the pyramids are unaccessible, and if it works out with a little tweaking I think it could really be a plus in gameplay. Great job, and your next map looks pretty cool too.

    Thanks for all the great reviews and advice. Making the pyramids accessable was something that did cross my mind while I was working on this map but I decided to leave it blocked to keep it from looking like the blue base on EMPIRE. It is something I will look into though when I get a chance as I have a couple of new maps in the works right now. Again thanks for all the comments on this map aswell as my other maps.

    I like the layout of this map. Simple but affective. I especially like the center. It divides the map well and provides multiple blocks in the line of sight from base to base. I like the pyramids as a just aesthetic piece, but I think they could be implemented into gameplay as well. I messed around in forge on it and maybe just deleting the 2 center blocks all the way through it. Either front to back or side to side. That way you can drive vehicles through them as well if you wanted. Or, you could just make a cave like structure out of them with only 1 side open. Just my two cents.
