maps of maps

Are you talking about forged maps or maps from other halo maps or maps of completely different games like GOW2 or Counterstrike?

 

I'd say try searching "halo 3 <<map name>> overhead" into google, that should probably give you what you're looking for. Most of these are done for Halo 3, but few are done for Halo 1 and 2, unfortunately. Here's one for snowbound;

 

Go into a game of forge/custom games of each map and then get the map off the recent games and the pictures should be there.
