i have to memories this by 10:00 tomorrow But soft what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Juliet is the sun Arise fair sun and kill the envious moon Who is already sic and pale with grief That thou her maid art fair more then she Be not her maid since she is envious Her vestal liver is but sick and green And none but fools do wear it cast it off It is my lady, o it is my love! O, that she knew she were! She speaks yet she says nothing what of that? Her eye discourses I will answer it I am to bold tis not to me she speaks <-------------------- i am here Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven Having some business do entreat her eye in heaven Would through the airy region stream so bright That birds would sing and think it were not night See how she leans her check upon her hand That I might touch that check
I just saw the play yesterday... am I the only one who thinks it was good? And I had to memorize the opening sonnett, it was pretty easy. Work it into a song or just repeat it forever. Copying it helps too...
i never knew it but most shakespeare plays are REALLY emo like in one of them something like 50 characters die in the first act
this is just a lesson of procrastination, unless they gave it to u that night and expected it done the next day, if that happened, punch ur teacher for me. or the director
If u care aboutthe play, this should be relatively easy. My advice is, do something u enjoy OR really feel the play, u know? Its what I did...
Yeah you guys pretty much do.... Well besides cheating...the best way to memorize text in a short amount of time is to use the (can't remember the name) method...what you should do is imagine somewhere you walk often (the path to the bus, through your house, etc.) then while you are walking have someone shout to you the lines (in your imagination) or see them on a sign. However the weirder the better, and try to make mental connections. Such as if I had to memorize that apes live in the Amazon (do they?) I would have a too-too wearing monkey yell it to me...sounds weird but it works...
