Sandwich A full arial track on sandbox Download map here: Sandwich Works with the RACETRACKS gametype Description: This map was named sandwich for no reason at all. I was trying to find a good name for it and this was the first thing that popped in me head (I'm not fat). This track is located in the sandbox sky bubble and is completely arial. The track is as long as the game would allow me, but I could not fit in all the fun parts that i wanted to. Creator: Acid Mailbox FYI: This map was created to have fun with friends. Many turns and jumps have been placed in here for passing opportunities and random events. The track is as smooth as it's gonna get so don't complain about the little issues that don't matter or effect the gameplay at all. This map can be used for any racing gametype you want, but the original RACETRACKS varient is the best. I try to add as much original things in each on of my maps. I try to make the different than all the ones comming out now since they all pretty much look the same. Personally I think those tracks are for looks, and ones like mine are acctually fun. Not saying I hate them, but I wish more like this would come out. Information: This track starts off in the gate with 8 evenly spaced mongeeses for fairer starts. It immediately takes an uphill left turn, then advancing you into a 180 degree right turn. This leads you down the slide bumps, and onward towards the first jump. The landing is a 180 degree turn around taking you into a low flying leap into the half tunnel. Taking the long staircase to the top brings you towards a few left turns. Approaching the third jump lands you onto the jagged path which then drops you through the goal point and into another u-turn. Taking you through the valley way into a few more quick turns lands you back at the starting point. And onto the pictures... Overview The starting spot The first turn The slide drop thing The first jump The wooden u-turn The low launch The long staircase The small turns Jagged stretch Valley pit Final turns Please comment and rate, and thank you for checking out my map. Also please add suggestions if you see anything wrong, Im open to improvement and custructive criticism, just don't be an jerk about it. Nice race map man. I really like the creative slide/drop/thing, the jagged stretch, and the valley pit. 4.5/5 download for sure
wow. the name of this map is incredibly deceiving. I thought it was going to be some poorly forged, retarded map but I was indeed mistaken. this map looks very nicely done with some interesting track segments for aesthetic-boostingness. the obelisk slope is my personal favorite part of it all. very nice track, very smooth, very playable, and just very awesome! 5/5 my friend!
Very well built racetrack. I see no ways of cheating, but it's kinda meh. No very interesting in my eyes. The interlocking does look very legit, and smooth, and I can't wait to test it out.
This is amazing, the best part IMO is the slide drop; they look like ski moguls. The structures and challenges in this are unique and interesting, and you have my download. Awesome job.
Wow, this is amazing a racing map i will actually download. This is not a normal racing map. You have made different kinds of section which i really like, such as that thing you call " slide drop thingy " . All the turns are great and it all looks very smooth, also love the long staircase.
When I first saw the link, I thought: "You know, I bet some n00b made this and is trying to get more views by spamming the forums with.... spam?" Anyway, I was wrong. This map is not noobish, in fact, it looks rather pro IMO. I love the use of arches, ramps, and obelisks in this map! From as much information as I can gather from my computer instead of my Xbox, this will net you another download AND possible a full review.
I first looked at it and I wasn't impressed. Then I noticed how you used every possible piece that could be used to make something unique and I was amazed. Downloaded and good reveiw
i liked the obalisk part and the first turn, the map was very neat and well thought out!!! keep up the good work....
you did something what others dont do and thats good not a simple boring race tracks this has jumps and some other fun things good job
This is a very good racetrack and pretty original. But it almost seem kinda boring because it is a relatively simple racetrack. I would maybe add some banked turns, maybe a few new obsticles because it seems kinda short and simple. Overall 4/5, good job.
Your map is outstanding I like how you made it with different terrain. Hey, do you think you could teach me something about making race tracks I can't seem to get my merges to be smooth like the pros
Despite the lack of a lot of interlockinzingz, like quantum, it looks good, with a lot of new racing forging strategies like the obelisk thing and the stair case. will DL out of curiosity for smoothness looks good, 4.5/5
YES! these are the types of maps more pple should make, its fun instead of just banks, and the aesthetics are sweet, idk how this map got pushed back this far great job
Wow! This map looks like it could get pretty hectic, The Stair case and the "Slight drop thing" look awesome cant wait to play on it!
Overall I like the map but I have 2 concerns. 1. It looks like if I hit a jump at the right angle, I can jump from the U-turn before the obelisks to the staircase. But I really don't know of that's possible. *apparently it turns out you can't make it, or atleast I can't. 2. Your vip point looks way too early in the track, it looks like I could probably score a point, die, and respawn ahead of everyone else. Again that's just the way it looks I don't know if it's really true. I can't really test this as my friend who I play racetracks with is on vacation ATM. Anyway a 4/5 if you could fix those (assuming they need to be fixed), if not then a 4.7/5 for the fun-ness it looks like it has. *DL EDIT: I found that you left one of the default VIP points on the main level. This only gives you a 10 second window to score points, or you gota wait for it to return back to the sky to score. I don't know if you intended for this but yea, just letting you know. There were also times where I just completely flew over the VIP point and missed my chance to score.
The best thing about this map is that most of it is not merged or interlocked, but the simplicity of the unique features make it fun to drive on. The slide drop is really cool. The track looks great, feels great and is a decent length 4.5! Great job!
