okay so i was thinking today about what kind of map i can create..i wanted somthing diferent somthing that will WOW poeple wich realy isnt gonna happen so i thought what can i do that is just a little bit diferent than most n then it came to me..but i wanna know what you guys think first its a CTF map but reversed...kind of okay so everything is the same as normal CTF except for 1 small thing..the red flag will spawn at blue base and the blue flag at red base and the idea is you have to get the flag to the oposing teams base in order to score a capture but..flag must be home to score. so what do you gusy think is it work making or will people just not be interested?
Oh wow. Nice idea. I've thought of doing this before, but I'm sure no one else has done it. Try it out, it might come out nicely.
I think lots of people have thought of this, but just havn't taken the time to do anything with it. I have thought of it personally. I never really did more than think about it. But go ahead. Make a variant on narrows and just see how a plain map turns out. If it turns out really fun. Bungie should perhaps look into it.
i will do that..ive been working on a map called PITFALL wich is designed for Ts and flag ill use that as a test for the reverse flag thing and post it up.ill put up 2 version tho one with normal flatg and one with reverse
 anyways, on topic. that sounds insanely hard considdering you need the flag at the base to capture, and considdering the team spawns with the flag they have to take, that could prove to be really annoying and difficult unless the return is like 2 seconds or instant.
OR you could look in my file share for a map named "Flung" and gametype of "Rejection Flag." It's the same thing. Bungie.net : Stats Sign Up http://www.forgehub.com/forum/testers-guild/63178-6-30-pm-april-3rd-flung.html
Yeah but the bomb explodes, and using the flag makes defending the home base more important, because you can't disarm a flag (I'm pretty sure you can't return bombs, but you can return flags, so there's that). The only downside is you'd have to make TWO separate maps, one for normal flag, one for "reverse flag", or whatever the hell you want to call it (I'm personally in favour of the name "Super-Multi-Reverse-Flag-Extreme").
