I couldn't figure out how to get lighting, so I left it as it was. I still have the psd so if anyone wants to tell me how to get the lighting, please tell
Wow man great job for your first in PS. You could either go: layer - adjustment layer - brightness/contrast or filter - render (i think) - lighting effects.

I have both GIMP at photoshop and I got photoshop from someone who didn't want it, dont ask. I actually like photoshop 100X better and I am going to use it for now on. But ya heres the render Planet Renders // Renders - Video/Console Game Renders/Halo 3: Security Sniper
No, I don't. Sorry lol. Just use gimp for now. For your style I would definetely use GIMP. Don't get photoshop unless you really need it. I actually got it from him for about 30 bucks. lol
That's probably because Photoshop is 100x better than GIMP, lol. Anyway, very nice first PS sig. The lighting effects, as LAXER previously mentioned, can be made either by hand, or using the "Lighting Effects" filter, located under Filters->Render->Lighting Effects.
good, really good for first PS... but BW doesnt suit it very well try out my tut (in my blog) and lightinng is found under filter>render>lighting effects
