    The Platform

    (sorry, I took the pictures in Forge, I didn't realize. D: )

    "The Platform" is an asymmetrical map meant mainly for one sided games, such as one flag and one bomb, although one bomb isn't set up for this map. If you want to play bomb, go and set it up for yourself. Flag is better though. Anyway, the defending side (red) has the higher elevation, but less cover. The attackers (blue) have more cover and equipment. Weapon placement is about even. This map started out as a remake of the part of the level "Metropolis" where you come out of the tunnels to the platform with the Gauss hog driving around. Looking at it now, it's not a remake, but still kind of 'inspired by.' The game play is similar to conquest, in the way that the two forces hit each other in the same area. I actually would suggest 2v2 or 3v3 for this map, because of how it is shaped. Any more and spawn killing could become a problem. Anyway, I spent a good amount of time on this, give it a try, tell me what you think.

    Download - Set up for 1 Flag and Slayer. To set up for more, edit in Forge. Replace existing objects with objects below. This gives you enough items to forge again. I did not feel the need to do this, because it's really meant for 2v2 / 3v3 1 flag.

    This looks like a really nice map over all, but it may be a bit too narrow. I like the creative angles of walls and boxes for cover, especially in that last pic. I'm going download it right now and check it out.

    I likes it, but you should really have done all the gametypes before you posted on forgehub. Seems kinda lame to say "if you want to play bomb go set it up for yourself."
    you should think about adding some sort of rails or walls to prevent people from flying off the edges easily.
    looks good.

    This looks pretty good, i like the way that you used the wooden bridges. Design on the map is good also but i would like a weapon list of some sort because i dont really know what the map is all about.

    I would love a weapon list and some action shots for this but i have one major flaw with this already.

    this doesnt work because lots of people are pressing forward from the go, and if someone spawns here its a suicide in less than a second.

    weapons list would be nice, and maybe providing each side a little more cover...an experienced sniper on either side could win the game.

    interesting map i have to say. new fresh ideas for structures but anyway the gameplay had one flaw with a spawn i just spawned and died as one of the posts above me is pointing out so fix that and dont take your screenshots in forge. Good map tho

    Alright. That spawn could be better. I agree.
    I don't want rails, because I want players to be able to be knocked off (nades, deployable cover, coils...)
    As for game settings, yes, I was lazy, but it's meant for 1 flag, so I decided it didn't matter too much.

    Weapons:

    smg x 4 (2 on each side)
    spiker x 2 ( red)
    plasma rifle x 2 (blue)
    magnum x 1 (center/red)
    plasma pistol x 1 (center)
    sword x 1 (center)
    sniper x 1 (top center)
    bruteshot x 1 (red top)
    BR x 4 (2 on each side)

    frags x ?
    plasma x 1 (red)
    spike x 2 (top center)
    firebomb x 2 (blue)
    deployable cover x 2 (blue / center)
    bubble shield x 1 (blue)

    (I like to make players start with smg's by the way. I'd rather see dual SMG's on a lot of people than AR's.)
    (I also like to reduce spawn time to 3-5 for 1 flag on this)
