I will be picking a winner tomorrow. Whatever studio's have been submitted after tomorrow(including the ones that did not win for Episode 18)will be in the running for Episode 19.
You did a double post. Anyway what iiHectic said about prizes: If you only visit this site just to get somewhere or to get something out of it without helping the community out then that's pretty low. You might not have meant it like that, and a feature would be nice, but your post did sound a bit dodgy. Also if it did get a feature it would be pointless because only emilio would use it.

I came up with a sweet idea, but I probally wont do it when my xbox gets back anyway so ill share it... Okay so you could probally build this in the crypt and it would probally be the best idea as that is the darkest place with effects on (Effects that darken the map (juicy and maybe olde tymey) placed on the map) Okay so the whole map is enclosed unless you want to build on the skybubble to get a sky as the erm, SKY lol. Okay so the actual interveiwing area is enclosed and the whole stage is on a slight ramp, the seats etc are flat coming out from the ramp and pretty close to the spectator area. Behing that, some interlocked arches (to make a circle, facing downwards and at a flat like the seating and some of the stage will have to be removed for this part. The arches will form a small tunnel facing to the top of crypt or sky. Lighting effects would be good here, probs red. You would have to make a switch for this next part, probally just a through down a grav lift and that will rise the moving (rising through tunnel) platform that will have to be kept in place with teles or weapon holders, and at the top of the tunnel a wall (Platform/bridge) facing the seating and audience so that the person on the moving platform can walk of and then walk onto another platform to the seating (that mechanism is for the geusts who need to get on the stage that dont need to be on the whole show (to get to the bottom of the tunnel you could probally have a teleporter from a secure location or a walking platform underneath the stage to another secure location)). Okay so thats the basic stage area etc oh and there will need to be lighting on the seating area. Blue light up above stage would work best (or above the audience area could work). Okay the audience area would be done with a slit (like in bases and turret bases (like in ww beach scenes)) But you could do the traits so that you can have it open (like in real stages) but they cant jump up In the audience area you could have a hydraulic door where the secure room (which has access to the stage and maybe a lighting room(see a bit further down) plus you may need insta kill with pistol custom powerup in this room) can have a switch to open it. All spawn points in audience area. Okay now the lighting idea, Im not sure its going to work but I think it may be possible to make a shutter light switch, so you have a movable object aiming at stage that can go sideways when a switch is activated so the light is revealed (only problems with this I think would be that the lighting isnt effected by movable objects (unless you had a person in forge doing the lighting, like from above)). You could get a modded gametype made for you (like I said in my first post somewere) so that its a slayer gametype with maybe no weps (if possible, or halo 2 swords lul) and leader only be able to forge (I had a simmilar one but it had insta respawn, ff and everyone could forge :l). The party leader would have to start the game before anyone joins because they should be host (so noone else is incase a v.i.p is there when you start and they leave and basicly screw the show). You could probally have some sort of aesthetic feature in the back as well, like a ball rolling side to side or summin (I dunno, go wild ) Enjoy my idea if you make it Just credit me in map desc with my name as the idea..
Knowing emilio, he will probably download just becuase of the lack of people entering and hes cool like that but just a suggesstion, you might want to show us pics of the map so we know what to look forward to.
I look forward to it. Its nice to know that i have a 1 in 5 chance of winning though because of the amount of people. Im thinking epic fish fingers is gonna win though because of the location. I was gonna do mine outside of orbital but i find it really boring forging on it.
I knew he'd win because his was perfect. He didn't make any of it though, It was there by default. He just put 3 teleporters, a table, and a balcony in... (the balcony was interlocked twice. Not amazing by any means...) Congrats Epic Fish fingers. I'm upset that I didn't win, But, I can't win anything so... yeah. Good job and I look forward to seeing the video... And BTW, Emileo, please do the interview in theater mode, Because If it is "in game" it looks bad. No offense man.

He didn't ask for an amazing forge creation, he asked for a studio. The Rat's Nest control room was perfect IMO because it overlooks the LZ, rolling savannnah and the space elevator wreckage. It also has Hornets and Pelicans flying around in the background. I know I shouldn't be the one saying this, and I'm surprised I won too, but you are being a bit of a bad loser. Just because I didn't create a heavily interlocked overly emphasised studio on Sandbox doesn't mean it isn't any good. This may have been a reason why my 'effortless' studio came out on top. I would like to thank i2 NINJA 4u for helping me with the balcony interlocking and d4rkdemon for providing additional advice and pointing out the rear control room, which became the dressing room. Also, I forget who made the map, but the Avalanche map with the race course round the outside looks liek a good idea too. I would personally like to see that in a future podcast. Your map is not bad chung wii, and it could be in a future one. Don't consider it 'losing' because you're not in this podcast. You may in the next one if it's any consolation.
Yea i agree with fish here. And congrats on the win. I figured you would win with that ingenius location. Chung, you need to calm down just cause you didn't win. It wasn't a forge the perfect interlocked super sandbox map, it was the forge a studio. IMO fishes was the best studio. I would much rather sit in his view then in boring old sandbox texture. I made a map for this competition but at least i have the maturity to congratulate the winner and not be sour about it, but look forward for the next one. Maybe try and get some feedback on how i could make mine better. I will probably make another one but i do have some other stuff i would like to focus on also. I will be back to this thread though. You can bet on that. Also, As i am typing this, i don't remember his name but the guy who just submitted a studio, you might want to add pictures to entice us to download it. Otherwise you might not have as good a chance. Once again congrats fish.
