Go to a store/place, ask for a job... it's simple. Or if it was a large company like McDonalds, Walmart, Bestbuy, ect. you can apply on their website probably.

Its hard to find a job until you're at least 16, if its any trouble I recommend mowing lawns, doing favors for your neighbor's and just asking folks if you can help with something. You shouldn't be attempting to get a job right away - you should start building your reputation by doing some free work until you have a decent community service resume.

Alphcat: I'm sorry but I can't do both at the same time sir. Anyway -

On a more serious note, yeah mowing lawns and yard work. If I was living there I would work in a store with air conditioning. I was with my uncle for 3 weeks on a fish trawler and I saw a lot of other ships, and I'm 16 maybe you could go if you don't mind leaving land for hours or days.

You may even want to ask some relatives if they need something done - I'm sure they might be able to trust based on past experience and you know relatives can cough up more money than strangers, or neighbors (unless they're elderly).

My younger Brother's first job was in Norway :O from relatives though so yes relatives (especially Grandparents) can be sources of good first jobs.

With this economy, it'll be really hard. My sister had trouble finding places to volunteer.
