Anyone else found this? In Forge, one day I was randomly messing around in the crypt of Sandbox. I put a wall on top of a kill ball, and amazingly enough, I stood on the wall and didn't die. After covering the center of the Kill Ball entirely, I found that its killing effect had been nullified. So I concluded that with Kill Balls, seeing really is believing: As long as you can't see the white center of the ball, you can go inside it perfectly safe. This will definitely open up a lot more possibilities for forging..
Discovered already, but certainly useful... Kinda. I'm sure someone will come up with a creative use.
This is why bubble shields keep you safe, the center emits kill-rays, that form the kill-ball, and those rays can be blocked with something indestructible, like the bubble shield or immovable objects. You can think of it that way.
Well, this doesn't always work. It DOES postpone the killing effect, but after playing around with this, occasionally it will still kill, and about half of the time it only SLOWS the death rays. While, this means it isn't stopped completely, this could be used for a timed puzzle map, or really intense objective games. So, yes, this is partially true that it doesn't kill you, and yes, this could create some creative and interesting games if used correctly.
This has been discovered countless times. Its not even worth a mention. But do I get a virtual cookie to because I discovered it by myself also?
