im baffled by how cleanly this map is forged. its rare that you get to see a map that makes bungies standard maps look like childs play. I also really like the fact that your maps has multiple structures making for a very strategic game. almost gives me the same feel that maps like turf gave me. You've also maintained very good lines of sight by keeping a lot of things elevated, and the use of pillars under the structures makes your map very believable. 5/5

Spiritual successor? The two are pretty damn close, imo. It's just that Foundry lacks capability, bu that's a different story.

Well, chris, I enjoyed your map post almost as much as I enjoyed the actual map. Although, the gameplay is better than the pictures let on. "My goal was to do my best to recreate what a map would actually feel and play like a matchmaking map." Atlas? Or is it glitched? I forget. Anyway, cool post with cool spam references to aj in the Redeemer thread. Yes? The "you guys ****ing rock" part really brought the entire post together, good job.

So Ima tell a story like I did on my post on Manifest. Hold on, wasn't this supposed to be a Mulge PRO map for that Forge like a Mulge PRO contest? If so, the first time I heard about it was when you were all like I want moar ramps. Then I got see it. I am a big fan of Xyinece and they felt the same because of the spiritual successor thing. Don't get me wrong; they are both very different. I liked it. Then I go to test and test some more. Then we tested more. Then you remade it on Sandbox and we tested some more. Test.

Now a guide like on Manifest.

    jk

This map is good. 5/5. But for srs, this map is expertly forged and very fun to play. The flow is impeccable. I feel like I'm on a map not on some blocks in the crypt. Although window panels would have fit better than slits XD... I love playing on this map and you will too. silence will agree that Shotty Snipez is win. I can't really explain it other than it's good. Nice use of elevation and transitions. Play it, kids.

FEATURE NAO and all that mumbo-jumbo.

    EDIT@SWEENERY:

BOO! All the cool kids lay down weapons.

Great job! I downloaded this map when it was originally posted, but I forgot to come back and comment. Nicely done making an asymmetrical map. Most people make symmetrical maps, but I like asymmetrical maps better(generally) because they take much more thought to make than symmetrical maps. With Symmetrical maps, you only have to design half a map, while with asymmetrical maps you have to ddesign the whole thing. Another thing that I love about this map is that it is balanced. I managed to get a few games on here, and I must say that Conduction plays phenominally. Great Job!

This map is great... I especially love the interlocking, the size of the map and the fact that there is more than just one level.
    Its a DL for me.

One of the few maps I've been able to get my friends to play on...

We had a great time playing on this map. We played 2v2, and while it was a little large, it worked well enough. This map reminds me of Hang 'em High in some ways. I hope to see it featured, and maybe even put in mm.

wow, I love the way you used the different levels in the bases. The whole map looks really clean and smooth. For now a 4.5/5 and a dl from me and I'll get back with a more detailed review after I have a closer look.

Flag plays decent if you got a good team who can play strong defense, though I was personally surprised with how SS came out. I tell you, thesilencebroken love it for sure lol.

Thanks for the great post. I put a lot of time into the design of this map, actually I completely constructed a Foundry map based on the original design to test and see where the problems lay. If you can, it's always a good idea to throw up an alpha test map. It helps you make changes to your design early on, before putting a ton of work into a room that needs to be cut or changed. This way, you won't feel so bad about having to change it, and it will definitely improve your map in the long run. Overall, listening to people feedback, making cuts and changes you aren't always sure of, and just trying different things is what leads to a great map. I'd be nowhere near that if it weren't for all of my testers.

It was underused :\ Had to be stood up. But guess what featureddd nao! Thanks for all the testing scope.

I am personally much more of a fan of asymm maps. Asymm maps can still be as balanced as symmetrical maps, they just take more work and conscious thought to do so. Asymmetrical maps are just overall more interesting to play and build, I'm looking forward to see more in the future.

Yeah it can be at times big for 2v2. I suggest BR starts and work towards weapons like the Snipers. Try to stay in areas where you can see a large ammount of the map. The upper areas are pretty decent (though underpowered compared to the foundry version).

As for matchmaking, it's my last forge goal. I've achieved pretty much everything else I wanted to with forge, so ATLAS is where my sights are set.

Thank you, and give yourself some credit. It's all about the testers, you have to test your maps, and a lot, if you want them to succeed. I've might quite a few bad maps, yet they all majorly failed due to lack of testers. Thankfully, the testers guild is running smoothly, so whenever you need testers drop a thread there.

Thanks, I did my best to keep an interesting layout in mind, hope you enjoy it.

Sorry it took me so long to respond guys, I've been slack and I don't like bumping my thread. My sights are set on ATLAS as of now, so if you have any 4v4 or 6v6 gameplay vids, sending them my way would be awesome. I'll update the thread with the link to ATLAS when the map is up. Thanks for the support guys.

I love the way the map looks, and congrats on the feature. I could set up an MLG version and test to see how that plays if you would like.

How ****ing insulting. I don't want praise of the kind that belittles someone else's incredibly hard work. If you don't have any intelligent criticisms to give about how this map plays (and again making comparisons with anyone else's map is not the way to go), don't bother posting. No one really gives a **** about your "opinion".

EDIT: BTW this should be locked now that the feature thread is going. :)

Naw we don't lock the normal threads with the features being up.

Just to let you all know, conduction has been submitted to ATLAS. Thanks to all those who tested, and if you want to support me the link is in the OP or here

Alright...sorry but this map is TERRIBLE...you should have stopped with Adagio, NO good lines of sight NO cover in the bases...

    SIKE
i always though the predecessor was good but limited because it was in Foundry, seeing it remade in Sandbox is amazing. its awesome to know where everything is already, and im REALLY glad that you touched up Red Bases which was tiny in the old foundry map. the only thing i miss is the death trap under Rockets, but for this map its not really neccessary unlike IN Foundry when i think it was a neccessity considering how play the green coloring of the map was..ya anyway

if you really are submitting this to atlas know what CTF is great on this map.BOTH AR starts and BR starts, they play amazing on this...idk about callouts that is the only thing that sometimes gets confusing, but teamwork pays off in this map so much. amazing geomergin and interlox its like stickin it to Bungie for making the crypts horrible limitations. height, as has already been said is established great in this map.

the only problem is im always having too much fun with objectives here, i never get a chance to do teal slayer but i imagine thats pretty good too, just never tried it. good luck with ATLASS

yearara dunno if u know about this, sum fool claiming your map as his own.........na jk

The geomerged mancannons are great, smooth blocks into the gay ass walls of The Crypt....excellent job Kristy...i love oyuIT
