Sandbox Ancient v.2

    Based on community suggestions, I beefed up Ancient by adding all sorts of fun stuff. There is now a Sniper Rifle instead of a Sword, more power-ups, more weapons and a better overall look and feel. If you thought Ancient was a bit boring, try this on for size!

    Well I'm glad to see you have been making improvements to your old map. Your map now hosts a far better structural formation that cuts down on the long lines of sight your maps predicesor had. I'm also glad to see a reduction of turrets and the placement of a sniper rifle. A few concerns I have are where does the hole in the middle lead? Also I would recomend putting a few more entrances and exits into your tubes. They are far too long to trudge through without the possability of a second route. Overall this is a massive leap in the right direction, nice work!

    I like some things in your map like the large ramp, tubes, and bunker (reminds me of the Japs from WaW) Although, I also agree with Canadians in that your tubes need a few more entrances. I see that problem a lot with tube heavy maps and I don't want to see the map be ruined because of this problem. Overall, good map. 4/5.

    I will try to add another entrance to both of the tubes. I think I may also try to link them together by going through the bottom of the giant ramp. Other than that, I guess this map is ready to be played.

    The hole in the middle leads down to a hidden Kill ball, so you'll die if you drop. However, you can stand on the small inside ledges, crouch to hide and possibly execute a surprise attack (with the shotgun which spawns right next to the hole) on your enemies. There's an added risk, but it could make things fun.

    The second screenshot has intrigued me. I'll download this and give it a try and possibly post some feedback later tonight.

    Uhhh not so big on the shotgun camp thing especialy since it's a hiding spot. If someone has a large lead they could just hide in there till the round was up. Glad your working on the tubes. Also I probably told you this for your last map but I would seriously suggest a weapons list.

    I appreciate the feedback, but I think it would be very difficult to camp there. One well-placed grenade, and you're doomed. Also, it's not easy to stand on those inner ledges of that little hole. It does provide a good hiding spot, but it is not impossible to tell when someone is down there. I think trying to camp there would be more work than it's worth, personally. I may lengthen the respawn time of the pallets, though. That way, they don't keep popping back up every ten seconds.
