Hmm. Prowlers are pretty interesting, I think. If you have semi-safe passage from point A to point B, you are transporting 4 people over to a certain location, which is VERY useful, depending on where you go (like away from enemy vehicles/people with anti-vehicle weapons). I once played a form of 1-bomb on Sandtrap (some variant of the gametype and map though) on matchmaking, and we were on offense. The person with the bomb got into the side seat of the Prowler, and another person got into the other, along with one with the turret and one (Me) to drive. I was scared of being lasered, but the opponent with the laser decided to kill the mongoose we had attack straight at him first. With him distracted, we got to where you arm the bomb with four perfectly able people (the guy carrying the bomb dropped it) and there were only a couple people defending it because the rest went to get all the good weapons. We then planted the bomb, defended the place, and scored. And on our next offensive turn, we did it again.
I like it because as an elite, you do a backflip kick to the face if you hijack the turret of a prowler from the left side of the vehicle.
i like it that when you go off the biggest sand dune on sandtrap with a prolwer, and you can make the prowler "glide" through the air.
The Prowler's agility has its advantages over the Warthogs blocky design. It can easily clear large jumps, cracks, and most obstacles laid out throughout whatever maps it may be on (Avalanche and Sandtrap?). Plus its highly maneuverable and is practically invulnerable to flips. Although with poorly designed passenger cover and seemingly useless weaponry, the Prowler can be an effective objective based weapon. You just have to use it the way it was suppose to be used: a stealthy vehicle with a tactical minded driver and good teammates that will keep you and eachother safe from enemy fire.
I <3 the prowler. It is my favorite vehicle because it is fun for the driver AND the gunner. I also like the point that Sweeny Todd made. People would definately complain about not having it in multi player. Just like not having a mounted missle pod, a troop hog, or an anti-air wraith.
I like Prowlers. If they had a guass turret it would be freaking amazing. Not really. I don't drive them, yet, the reason they were put in is because the Brutes needed a vehicle that could carry many brutes at one time and fire in the process.
Yeah, the speed could change, but still, it was added for the brutes. I guess it was a mislooked vehicle. No one really likes it in an actual game, I don't think I have ever ridden in it, lol.
