I haven't seen any threads specifically about the new Bionic Commando demo, so use this thread to talk about anything related to the game. The demo is free in the Marketplace, and it is INSANELY fun IMO. I've heard the real game comes out May 19th, so look out for it. For those of you who haven't heard about the game, Here is the wikipedia page. The game is very competitive, but definitely takes some getting used to. You might not like it at first, but it will get a lot more fun after you learn all the gameplay mechanics. Also, you will notice that the demo doesn't have a custom game option. You can, however, glitch yourself into the custom game lobby. Here is a video on how to do the custom game glitch that allows you to play with friends. DISCUSS:
Alright, so I remember hearing about this game and this thread sparked my memory. I immediately went to download and watched some videos as it downloaded. Just watching it alone had me impressed, but it also prepared me for when the game finished downloading. First game I played, I got a second place. The swinging was a really intuitive system I felt, because once you get how it works it is up to the player how to make the most of it. Since I had seen videos of how it worked, I was ready to take it on. Now, I am no swinging pro, but I am fairly decent. I was able to evade many players, catch many players, and beat others to weapons. However, one of my favorite uses of the grappling hook was the ability to grab other players. This, combined with the sniper resulted in some nice no scopes, because it basically immobilizes the two of you, and I had the stronger gun. I'll come back with a better review later, but right now I am impressed.

Yea, after playing the game all day, I've pulled off some pretty sick grapple moves. Nothing feels better than swinging from place to place, and then landing behind someone for an easy kill. What most people don't realize is that you can swing from place to place. I see people all the time that just grapple a surface and then press A to be pulled up to it. Although there's nothing wrong with that, it's generally easier just to swing around. If you time your jumps right, you can swing from one side of the map to the other without stopping. Also, don't underestimate the pistol. I can do this thing in my arm muscles that allows me to pull the trigger quite quickly, and I can take down people with the pistol in no time. It feels great to get in a 1v1 with someone with the sub-machine gun, and then embarrassing them with your pistol. Also, for those who haven't figured it out, when looking at weapons or armor, you can grapple it in when the circle of arrows turns yellow. This is extremely helpful when you want a weapon that is below you. Instead of dropping down and then going back up, you can just pull the weapon to you. If you're really good you can grab items while swinging around. EDIT: JW, has anyone tried split screen? I doubt it would work, but it would be amazing if you could do the custom game glitch with other people on your Xbox.
