I must quote you, its hard to resist why your wrong. The sun is said to die out in about 5,000,000,000 (Five Billion) years time. This is not 100% true but I have a high feeling that we will not be around during that time. So we can just sit back and relax about a supernova happening to us. However, like I already said though, this is not 100% accurate.
