This is bigger than any Covenant war. This is a battle for survival against the gods. There is no running. There is no hiding. There is only survival and extinction. 5 to 14 players. Spacial Rift is a Sandbox remake of my High Ground infection variant, Mayhem Zone. The two alpha zombies start off in ghosts, invisible and invulnerable, and can only kill by splatters. Humans have BRs and there are two plasma pistols that spawn to help stop the ghosts. If you are splattered, you become a zombie. The new zombies are red, have no camo, are SWAT-damage (One headshot), and have swords. Humans have to avoid the ghosts while spraying away BR bullets on the other zombies. An overview of the map. Humans have essentially no cover, with the exception of a lone pillar and some debris (Explained later). Human spawn. Alpha zombie spawn. The nice one-way gate where alphas enter the arena - humans cannot get back there. New zombies are launched up into the arena from these pipes. A man cannon launches a banshee and ghost through a killball and into the arena. This introduces some debris each round for cover and aesthetics. It's somewhere else each round. An overview after the debris. Download link: Map (Spacial Rift) Gametype (Sacrifice)
you mean invisible? this map looks really good, neat and fun to play, are there any honour rules like no hijacking? 9/10
Yeah, I did, thanks for pointing that out. No honor rules, as humans can't board the ghosts. Good for a pick-up-and-play game - relatively no explaining to do, and it is uncheatable.
Looks to me, like it is too small. If there are 2 alpha zombies, as well as an estimate of around 5 normal zombies, in a small area like that? Seems like the game could be over before it started. But that aside, it seems like a greatly forged map, with an original idea. I like how every so often, the banshee debris would rain down on everyone as well.
the map looks very cleanly made at a first glance and the game type looks hectic and very pick up and playable like you said. also as other people have said that it may be to small especially for two ghosts. when i first read through the post when i read the one headshot thing for the new zombies but after i tested i see that its a good thing. congrats on another well made map from the community and cngrats on a good map from you.
Its not so big to start it off but it might be fun.Its kinda like a map on foundry just its the oppisite.I like the shield for the humans and plasma pistols. They really help.I also liked your idea of the debri. The spans for them are in the right spot so its neat.Well to end it off you did a good job.:0)
This looks like a really fun map. The idea seems pretty original. You executed this very nicely and I like the debris cover. That definetly makes this better. It seems very fast paced and difficult for the humans though. Good job with this.
Thanks for the replies, guys. I'd like to make something clear: the map is not too small. The humans are not intended to free-roam and have tons of room to run away from the zombies; however, the humans have enough room to evade the ghosts while fighting back against the other zombies.
