    CaptainMcSMOKE presents : Boardwalk (final version)

    This is the link to the original map, if you would like to compare where I started to where I ended up "OLDWALK" is what it's named now.

    This map is best for: Team Slayer, Slayer FFA
    2-12 Players

    Brief Description: Boardwalk is an asymmetrical map that hold many properties of symmetric maps that makes for fair, but also challenging and always fun play. BR sight lines. A high-rise catwalk with a good view. Vehicles. Mayhem.

    Designers Word: I consider this my final version of "Boardwalk." I'd like to thank anyone who gave me tips and suggestions while I worked on this map. Most people are skeptical of asymmetric maps but I promise that this variant gives a fresh look at it. I look forward to forging more and creating better maps to share with this great community. Thank you for your time.

    This map looks pretty good overall. I haven't seen many maps with 2 OS but I'm guessing that they are there to help combat the vehicles. btw, I couldn't really tell in the pics where the sniper and 2 OS were located. just wondering

    This looks legitamately awesome. I think that this gives a great perspective towards the positive sides of assymetrical maps. Gameplay looks fun and it seems well forged based on the pictures, weapons list looks solid to me too. One problem i see though is that the blue side wll probably have an advantage most of the time, due to their higher ground, but I may be wrong, and that kind of thing is to be expected with assymetricals anyway. Good job.

    Thank you for the compliment.. The blue sides slight advantage is balanced out fairly with weapon placement on the red side and with the two OS being only slightly closer to the red base on either side of the map only because it is a longer trek to the catwalk. The fact that the catwalk can be accesed by vehicle gives the red side just as much chance to get up there as well.

    I really like this take on an asymetrical map, I'll download later and rate. If you could add a few more pics it would be a plus, but overall this looks pretty original. 4.8/5

    Just downloaded and played, what an awesome map. I went and looked at the previous post with the original pictures and you did a great job upgrading your ideas. The two OS might be a little much but could prove useful as you said. Great job! Rating soon.

    i,m new here and downloaded this map. It is welll designed and original.... i guess only complaint (by looking at things) is would the blue side be advantaged alot? maybe im wrong. cant resist trying it out to see at least
