ok guys ive recently been waiting for some sketchup designs to be complete. While I've been waiting I've decided to give gow2's famous map gridlock. This will be a large project for me because not only do I want to make the map I also want to add some unique athestics and some great game play. I will forge the map on sandbox. I'll be updating this a lot and adding my layout idea and update pictures of the map i know its a sloppy design and it doesnt have everything but i understand it Spoiler To do list.. 1. Make the 2 starting points 2. Add the gaursrails and barriers spots 3. Make the snipe tower 4. Add the 2 side based 5. Make tunnel and rocket area 6. Clean up a bit 7. Wepons/spawns 8. Testing
This will be hard to remake and keep the same gameplay movement. In Halo 3, you can jumps over things quite easily. In GoW you cannot jump at all. Despite this huge difference, I wish you good luck. I enjoying playing on remakes. My suggestions are to make taller cover and to make a custom gametype with 1 life per round. Or you could check out the gametype that was made for "Reedeemer". It is based off of GoW. I cna't wait to see how thi comes out.

I made a gridlock on foundry once... It was really quite easy and it did not look very sloppy. Want me to do a sandbox sketchup of it?

ok well i want it in the bottom part of sandbox, and I want it to be as exact as possible to the actual gridlock, and I really aprrectiate it, this is a lot easier to go by than by a paint drawing lol
lol ya true, no problem man. Do you want me to make it elevated so it goes down slightly where the boxes are that look out into the water?

Ya man, it's not gonna happen, I am tired as hell from this swine flu and I need to get some sleep... It will probably be done by tomorrow night, actually maybe not cuz I have presidential suite tickets to the astros even if they do suck its still presidentail suite tickets... ok well I have one spawn started and a little bit of the first tower, the hardest part is the size of the map because I am trying to make it as proportional as possible but that doesn't seem to be working out.. Anyways, sorry man.
