    Heyhey
I know Bungie touched over this in a weekly update a couple of weeks ago, but I still don't get how to sort it.
Basically, I'm trying to make a 'top middle' section of my latest map, I get all the double walls in place as the floor, interlock accordingly, save, quit, restart and boom, the walls have shifted. Usually a slight tilt about the x-axis
Can anybody help? Ive tried everything I know ! :(

The simple fact is that this is unavoidable. Because of the tilting you're doing to the walls, the re-orientation is lost slightly in the S&Q. This is what causes them to jostle about. You can try to work with it by aligning the little blue teardrops according to each other (eg, have them all face one way like so > - > - >) or you can work with another object. If you are on sandbox, Block Flat is a good recommendation. If you're working on Foundry, you can get the walls pretty tight with no interlocking. Check out my map Grinder for an example of what I mean. The upper level is pretty air tight and I didn't use any interlocking.

Other than that, best of luck in future forging, and always ask if you need help!

they need to be facing <->-<->-<

so the tilt is acordingly on the same side

and try to have the ball type things on the same side of the walls all of the time

If double walls are touching on the long sides, they have to face the same direction, so when they rotate the higher side touches the other high sides. Short end to short end, and you have to alternate directions so the low and high sides are touching.

Actually it is possible to get a basically flat floor in foundry with interlocking, there will still be occasional bumps, but they would be no greater than un-interlocked walls...

I have to interlock the walls together so it fits the area better, it's "balanced" on 4 obelisks, making a rectangle, 3x2 double walls.
Thanks for all the helps guys !

This may sound stupid, but what about bracing them with receiver nodes or some other object? Then just deleting them after you start a new game and see how that works.

I tried that, with mancannons, receivers and double boxes (not all at the same time)
    And they just pushed through.
Ive sorted it now though, used a different method to make a floor (block angled) and made a cool effect, so im keeping it :)

So how would you arrange the double walls to get a large floor, not just a line?
