Affliction V2 Created by USNSEABEE555 Supported Game types: Slayer, TS, Multi-team, MT Oddball, MT KOTH(Epic), And the Swat Version SWAT-A-Liction. Map Description: I wanted to prepare my V2 of Affliction for Atlas, With the help of a few very smart and dedicated testers in the Tester's Guild if they had not critiqued my baby for me. I probably would not have been challenged and motivated to come up with these few crucial last changes that they noticed after the first testing session. I now feel that Affliction V2 is ready for Multi-Team Matchmaking as well as Team Swat. When I made this map I had no clue about the OLN like some if not most. So I cheated myself out of countless pieces. Aside from that If you still have doubts about throwing down a Saturday Night Showdown with maybe some feedback from your friends at the Tester's Guild will help sum it up for ya. Also here is the Original version, so you can see what I have changed, also a link to the Atlas page when I submit it (very soon). In case anyone is wondering why the kill ball is placed on top, I put it there to prevent people from camping on my crown!! Weapons Utilized: 10 x Battle Rifle - RR=default/Clips 2 10 x Covenant Carbine - RR=default/Clip 2 2 x BruteShot - RR=60/Clip 2 2 x Needler - RR=120/Clip 2 1 Sniper - RR=150/Clip 1 1 Shotgun - RR=150/Clip 1 1 Rocket Launcher - RR=180/Clip Equipment Utilized: 8 x Plasma Grenade RR=default 1 Bubble Shield RR=120 1 Re generator RR=120 1 Over Shield RR=150 1 Active Camo RR=150 Screen shots: A View few different views from overhead. Around the shrine area A look up inside the shrine, where the Rockets are stowed away... Bottom of shrine cannon, man in middle used to retrieve rockets and gain access to top mid. Under Red star geo merged columns to gain access. Blue sides ramp And finally the Kill ball I placed on top of my Crown to Discourage you knuckle heads from trying to camp on an action map(shame on you). the kill ball doesn't effect vision or game play. Credits: No action screens needed, why look at pictures when you can get down on the real deal. sound familiar? Special thanks to my friends and new friends at Testers guild who helped me test out the game play, you guys helped make this release possible! *UPDATE* The Atlas submission be the first to leave a reply!!!! Download Affliction V2 Here Download SWAT-A-Liction here
It looks good and the center piece looks amazing. But i am just not a big fan of maps where the whole gameplay is based on the centerpiece. Im still going to download it though just to look around. All and all 4/5
Wow what a map. Excellent merging for some of the best aesthetics I have ever seen. The geomerging adds a nice touch as well. It looks perfect for 4 team gameplay and I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for making it.
Yes buddy im so glad you released it! it looks great im glad you took our advice and raised the colums. i bet it makes gameply way smoother eh? well good job! and you have my DL of course
This map really is alot of fun. When we were messing around with it yesterday, it played awsome. Loved the center piece. You should submit this to Atlas.
Thank you everyone for all the replies already and I am really glad I became a part of the Tester's Guild and scheduled my map for a those testing sessions without a doubt, without your guys suggestions...this would not of become what it is. Thanks again fellas! About to add it Atlas in just a couple mins. I will Post link in Original. Peace, God Bless!
I helped test it a couple days ago and I must say that I was impressed. It was excellent for FFA king of the hill and even though it's made for multi team it was still epic in FFA slayer. Great map in both aesthetics and gameplay areas...
Thanks to all who support this map...Please continue your support at Atlas by leaving some feedback there for the Bungie crew to hear. I told Atlas about how ForgeHub.com was a big factor in helping work out the kinks and preparing it for the sharks. Now it's time for Forgehub as a whole to show they fully support maps that have been properly ran through the testing period. I expect to see some backup from my fellow forgers. Don't let the forum down, by neglecting to show your support for your members productions. Thank you all for listening, God Bless!
I have been watching this map for a while and i am glad it is finnally released. I never actually got a chance to play it but I love the astetics and it looks like a very fun map. I totally agree with whoever above me said they would prefer this over tundra swat. good job on the finished product. 5/5
