Sand Tower Ive trying to make a map that feels like a platform jumper. So i decided to build a bunch of floating crates surrounding the huge tower in sand trap. The game variant this is best for is Zombies. Where humans spawn at the top of the tower and zombies at the bottom, and they must use the platforms to reach the humans. There are multiple ways to the top so once it is last man standing it is guaranteed to be hectic. One of the problems with this map is that humans will just jump off and run towards the other side of Sandtrap as opposed to staying on the tower. Additionally getting to the the top requires some high jumps so some people may fall a lot at first. Once you get used to it its a great map. There are two gravity lifts one which is the main one where zombies spawn the other is in the middle of the two towers sitting on top of a teleport node. I may have to change it so its just a reciever node so it does not confuse people. Try it out. I dont think it is, but then again i built it and i know what to do, new people Ive played with manage to get up but they dont notice the other ways to get to the top. Its just a matter of going over it, but then again custom maps arent popular you need something where you just jump in and go. I say try it out, maybe give humans only shot guns and zombies more health in order to give them more of a chance...
yeah it looks a little hard. I would try to come up with some way to figure out how to keep the humans from just running away. You could possibly lower their speed so that if they do try to run, it will be easy for the zombies to catch them.
