Question about the 100 Custom Item Limit Workaround via Silver Account

For those of you who don't know, there is a relatively easy workaround for the 100 Custom Item limit. Just create a new profile on your xbox. Go to the custom games lobby with both your XBL Gamertag and the new profile signed in and start a game. Then quit the game. Then using the controller for the new profile, bring up the recent maps or recent gametype screen to see the just played map/gametype. Now you can save 100 extra items.

The problem is that should you want to play map saved on the other profile you have to perform this process in reverse to be able to. I figured I'd instead store all of my videos on extra profiles since they are mainly just for me, keeping my maps and gametypes close at hand to play should the mood strike me but I can't seem to get this to work with the videos. I watch them with both profiles signed in but they don't appear in the recent videos. Now that I think about it, I've only tried it with Film Clips so it may work fine with full videos. Since I haven't so far been able to get it to work, I decided to try to see if anybody here could confirm/deny whether or not it can be done.
