I just got CS4, and I couldn't figure out how to properly resize or paste. When I try resizing, it seems to work, but the name of the image still says "66%," etc. Then when I paste the picture it comes out as the original size. What am I doing wrong? Secondly, when I paste an image, it automatically centers. Is there any way to move the picture into the place you want it?
The thing with the resizing is the "66%" is the amount of zoom you have on the picture. I don't remember what you do to resize it, cause I lost my photoshop, but it's in the column image or something like that.. When you paste... er... idk.
If you want to change the zoom to normal size, just double click the 66 and change it to 100%. And to move an image, just use the transform tool. Shortcut is control-T
Image menu > resize image. if the little chain is linked, the image will stay in proportion. If the chain is broken (you can do so by clicking it) then you can resize stuff separately
To move your canvas around the screen, use the hand tool found in the default toolbar. To change your zoom, which is at 66% usually, use the zoom tool and click on your image to zoom in and Alt+Click on your image to zoom out.
Alright, I got the moving pasted pictures part. As for resizing, I don't know what's wrong. Maybe my copy of CS4 is just ****ed up. When I resize, the picture shrinks and whatnot. But when I try and paste the resized image onto a background, for example, it goes back to its original size. P.S. Hari and M.Jelleh, is your sig shop still open?
