I'm working on a map and I've gotten to the point where I'll meed every dollar of my budget to finish it. Now if I delete NONE of the original spawn points or objective items have I avoided hitting the OLN, or may I still hit it if I placed to many low cost items like weapons and grenades? I have some original scenery I can place, but I heard this acted weirdly when you try to interlock it, and would much rather delete it and place my own. (I used the SndbxOLNCanvas by Devinish and Cosmic Rick)
The OLN is the OLN. Once you hit 640 items, wheather it be spawn points, goals, weapons or items. Use some of the original spawn points that were from the OLN canvas, and whatever other items you may. I am not really sure I fully understand your question.
What I meant was if it was possible to hit the OLN if you DIDN'T delete the original spawn points. I guess I phrased it awkwardly. If I keep the spawn points and objective items, put them in my map, but delete the rest of the default scenery, can I still run into the OLN? Or do the spawn points alone make it so I've saved enough objects so that before I hit the OLN, I run out of budget.
Of course you will eventually still hit the OLN. Just because you use some default spawn points and itmes, does not mean that you will magically be able to bypass the OLN. Using some of the default spawn points and items will just give you a greater margin. It's really simple to understand. If you delete the original spawn points and items, you will hit the OLN that much faster than if you used some of them. Edit: I money glitch some items as well. If you are not money glitching some items, the OLN problem will be less common.
Actually, I realized that all the original objects are set to the highest run time maximum. This stays even if you delete objects. To solve this, change all the run time maximums back to normal. This is how I found $38 that was missing due to the run time max. What I recommend is to just use the original spawns and weapons. This normally works until you hit the budget limit, and can no longer spawn any more items. Also as a tip, dont delete the original spawn points. Just save new map and create one version with all the original spawns as well as creating a final version without the extra spawns. This way, if you make a V2, you wont worry about running out of spawns.
