    Map Name: Thorium
    Base Map: Sandbox

Description: This symmetrical map is designed for objective play with large teams. At each end there is an identical base for the red and blue teams and two large towers opposite of a deadly reactor in the center. Lifts at the base of the towers launch players up to a platform that overlooks the entire map. Blocks and obelisks are dispersed throughout open areas to provide some cover on the ground and each base houses vehicles. This map is ready for almost any gametype and all the Halo 3 carnage you can stand!

Well it looks like it could be fun to play, It doesn't seem like there is much going on imbetween the bases and the center structures though. I'd suggest adding more cover or some more structures inbetween the bases and the center thing. Good job though.

Well you have to keep in mind that the map is designed more for objective play and there needs to be some real distance between the bases. Vehicles help players close that distance and there are weapons dispersed with the blocks between each base and the center that provide some cover on the ground. Anybody who spends time playing Big Team Social can tell you open territory is just as much a part of the game as tight corners filled with cover. ;-)

No open territory = No point to spawning BRs and Snipe.

I think you need to add something else to just like a mini tower on each side for cover because it would be to easy to snipe and br most people can still snipe and br in close quarters

The bases are pretty good, and I like the side towers, but in between that there's not much going on. I know you want to keep it open, but it may be a bit too open. I feel the sandtrap-esque play that you have going for it, but it doesn't quite achieve that. Sandtrap has multiple levels and cover in the middle still, as well as the vehicle paths that you have. A bigger middle cover structure other than an obelisk spine and a circle killball thing would be better, but the other structures are very good. 3.5/5

Moved the snipe spawn to the backside of the bases to prevent a sniper from "living" in either tower. - Updated Bungie link.
