Fishing Contest By Chesney1995 Welcome to the great fishing contest! Who will get to the boat and catchthe most fish? Shame that if you fall in, you will be eaten alive by the mutant zombie fish... Overview Fishermen If you are a fisherman, you need to get to the boat in the center of the arena, but to get there, your jumping and balancing skills will be tested to the limit. First off, you spawn here: Spawn point Then, you need to cross your first obstacle... The tilted bridge. The tilted bridge Next, you jump down, and land in a small cage, with three gravity hammers. This is your first Hammer hop. Hammer hop 1 You then need to jump over the open double box, but if you fall, you will be teleported to the middle of the ocean. Open box jump Then there is the second hammer hop. Hammer hop 2 Then, the dreaded tightrope. Many a fisher has fallen to their death here. Trust me, it is hard. The tightrope Then there is a second, ordinary bridge. Bridge And then you jump down, onto the deployable cover jump. Deployable cover jump Then, onto the fence box. Fence box And onto the boat. You now have the remainder of the round to have some fun fishing. The boat The Fish The fishs job is to kill any fishermen that fall into the depths below. Action shots The one that got away. This map could also work if you a King of the Hill variant, because everyone would be rushing to the top. And just a tip, tweaking the objects on the map to be straight and aligned with other pieces makes it looks so much better. 4/5
this is like lava monsters but i think that you need to do something about the grav hammer cause if one person swings it and you jump at the same time your gonna fall also you should make the weapons on the boat snipers no rockets
I think it is a good concept but done wrong. I believe that the fish would have the most boring job ever. Just running around hoping the fisherman fall would get boring really fast. Also, it seems like a really easy obstacle course. I could probably do all those challenges in 1 or 2 tries. Also, once the fisherman get to the boat do the zombies or fish have any way to get to them because a turret in infection games usually marks trouble especially if they are given infinite ammo. I am going to say a no-download from me but i am sure you still will get a lot of downloads because it does look like a pretty good concept.
Without rockets, the fish can pile under the boat and not be killed, with rockets, you can fire directly down and the explosion will kill them. There are also some snipers up there, and the gravity hammers I am hoping to fix in V2, I just havent figured how yet lol.
I am working on making version 2, hoping to fix the hammer problem. Version 2 will also feature: - A new area, tomb of Poseidon - The sword of Poseidon - A new name for the map, Poseidons Vault - Some aesthetics(sp.) to make up for the lack of them in V1 This may make V2, depending on the test result: - Alpha fish have gravity hammers to knock humans off.
