Hey everyone, this is my first post in the forums, it did get delayed, I accidently ripped my hand open at work, so sorry, it's nearly better now. Anyway, the Halo 2 map "Foundation" was not the favourite, but it was never hated. It looks like it was built for more objective based games, because of the big focus on the four rooms. It appears anyone going through the centre would be killed, and it was sensible for a team to defend a certain area from the higher sides. I have recreated this map on Foundry. 1# I don't have Sandbox. 2# Many people don't so, many people won't play it. 3# I needed Foundry for the colour remake. Now, their was four rooms on the original map, Room One was a dark colour, on Halo 3, I remade this room using upside down bridges. Room Two was green, I have done this used double/single boxes. Room Three was yellowy, featuring two misty yellow windows on each side. I made this room from walls and made one window, using a fence wall, four custom powerups and two sign A's. NOTE: The yellow window in the picture is from v7. v8 now has no shield door, with updated powerup/sign positions. Room Four was also green, I did the same thing as Two for this. NOTE: Halo 2's green rooms had single boxes, I have replaced these with barrels on this one. The weapons have beeen placed with fair spawn times/spare ammo. The map is smaller, and their is not enough room for good use of vehicles and I have ruled mongooses out, as they are not in Halo 2. The centre of the map is made from 8 barriers shorts with a wall, and the fusion coils are their on the sides, but in this map, their is two on each side instead of an unbalanced 2:3. The map is for 2-4 players IF they are playing on seperate teams. I encourage players to use this map as more objective, possibly Oddball, Terratories, Juggernaut. If playing objective, I recommend 3 players on each team. If more the map will maintain -blam!- spawn killing, which I dislike. ---SIDE INFORMATION--- The map originally had much different layout, the colours imperfect and the map easily escapeable, bad spawns, bad weapon times. The map has been updated eight times, to block MANY escape routes and to make the map fair. The centre of the map has been changed 5 out of 8 times. The eighth version is the closest to the original map I can make, and I am still working on this. The turret areas are placed, using three doors each with the drop to the rocket. I have not seen the original map for two years, it's all from memory, I think I may have some things wrong, so please tell me if a mistake is made. From version 1-8, I have had 400+ downloads. Sadly, some people have thought that they would rather stare at some pictures of the map then play the map itself, and from these poor people, I have had 550+ pictures of the map downloaded... I have so far, from 450+ dwnlds, got ONE negative comment, which I found to be pretty stupid, as this angry player hadn't even played the map. He was angry because in the game I had played with him; 1# I got the sniper before him. 2# He had walked in front of me when I tried to snipe a guy getting the oversheild, he got one shot battle rifled, and the overshield guy got me... yeah, i remember my first post, I got angry when people told me. I was always going to, but i was inpatient. Anyway, people will just back out of the page after seeing there is no pictures. I mean, would you go through the hassle of adding someone as a friend, locating the map on their fileshare, download it, then load it up, to find the map is crap? I'm not saying your map is crap, but people are jusdt lazy, face it, I mean I am =D Put pictures up and i will dowload it since it is your first map
