Well, yesturday after playing some SWAT, me and my friends went on customs and played some Hobo Heights V2. A recent player joins and says; "hey! this is my friends map!" Im like, well, if your friend is true dark fusion then ya. He says " who the f*** is he?" I was thinking WHAT THE HELL! Someone stole his map!
Could just be the same name, or maybe.. Similar syle map. But more likely... We have a thief on our mits. Release the hounds...

Well unless he posted a thread about it on Bungie we cant blacklist him so really its just people on Xbox Live being gay.
my stepbrother knows I frequent this map making site and knows about the guilders and whatnot anywho, a few weeks back he was at his moms house and his cousin, josh, came over to play halo with him, they went on live and Josh's net friend came on and said "this is a map I made the other day" sure enough it was hobo heights v.2, and my stepbro even chewed him out and said that it was TDFs haha
lol, ive met up with like 5 people who said they made a map but then i told them they didnt make it so they laughed at me :squirrel_sad: and told me they dont care. but theyre smart b/c they arent gonna post it on bungie but they will continue to tell people its theirs.
Ok heres what i'd say may have happened. Lets call the guy you met player x and his "friend" player y Player Y downloads hobo heights v2 He plays a game on hobo heights with Player x and other members of his band of meerry men as you do. He may well have not mentioned FH or downloading it during the course of the game Therefore Player x assumes Player y made and owns the map. You then play a game of Hobo Heights v2 with player x He think Hobo heights is player y's map You tell him its TDF's He,never having visited FH or the bungie.net DL page has so clue who TDF is. Well yesterday when I was hosting a game on the helms deep map, everyone assumed I made it (until i said it wasn't me of course), so maybe the same sorta thing happened here?
Tell him to get better at Halo. Then boot him. That's what I would've done, that what a real man would've done.
So what, people say that stuff all the time. It happened to me once, I made this infection map a while back and everyone thought it was fun. After it went from a few people to another few, I started another party a few weeks later. I invited one of my friends and we started playing. I asked him if he like the map, and he said, "what, you've never heard of this map?" So I said, "well yeah, I made it." He then said that I was a lying ****** and his friend had spent days working on it, and how dare I steal it. He then deleted me off his friends list and I never played with him again. Fair?, no, but what are you going to do about it?
I completely agree with you here, its without a doubt what happened and it doesn't take a genius to figure it out..
