My Forging Challenge!

    I have to re-post my subition here because FH logs me out whenever i try to edit my other post -_-

    I sent you this in a private message but ill post it here so everyone can see
    Map

    Ive tested this with a few mates and it works best with about 4 people, its fairly small because i did not use an area like the crypt, try it with 2-aside, There may be some problems with the spawn points because i think someone might have changed them when i was about to save it. Well thats about it tell me what you think
    *Edit*- ive changed it now so you can get on top of the large columns and ive also fixed the spawn points. I added a few new weapons and a power weapon that spawns 2 minates after the game starts. Heres some pics:

    ohh i should say those Double boxes that are in the background are only there to fix the Skybox respawn glitch

    a very good first entry indeed... but our only entry atm... maybe I should post a "due date" so everyone who said they're working on it will work faster... idk....

    i dont know if you know this:

    go into your map: change gametype to Slayer, and delete the starting points... that should fix it. also put starting points on ur map so you can start there, that should eliminate the need for those boxes.

    say we make our map in the crypt. do we need to block off our map with that 1 object or can we use something like double boxes to block it off?

    yes that has been done in this map you can check in forge mode if you want, but there is an actual glitch in sandbox where you will randomly spawn on the ground no matter how many starting points you have. Its really easy to fix all you need to do is cover these spawn points on the ground

    P.S. : why bother even saying theres a prize its not somthing amazing so just say it a prize for kudos lol

    anyways, im in too... i already got a map that all i would need to do is change a few things around.... i should have it up by this weekend hopefully...

    it's similar to that pillars one above, but not quite...

    Ow this is epic, it really forces you to think out of the box, and that is a very good thing. I think I have an idea already, when is it supposed to be finished?

    EDIT: Are you allowed to use grav lifts? it really isn' t a major part of my map but it would be nice to be able to use grav lifts.

    I did it real fast, and it doesn't look epic, but it does play great, as long as you have equal teams.
    I made a close quarters map, using stone platforms, but I also used 1 effect, I hope that's allowed.
    Anyways, the map:

    Ummm... U need a link to a FH thread w/ the map so we can see it. And Arvas how can u love it if it only has 0 DL's? Oh and I editted my map a lot and realized that I forgot to set about 3 items to spawn at start. I'm also thinking of adding another feature that may be cool. Not sure as of yet. I'll make a FH thread tomorrow around 4pm EST. I still need to add spawns for all variants too. It's a 2 vs. 2 map also. Can probably support 6 though but it'd be a stretch.

    Dude, your map looks awesome. I understand that due to the contest and the limitations on the objects used, your, mine and IndigoBeef 's maps are quite small, but you seem to have used that to an advantage.
    I do like the colomns that are half in the ground, also the hole in the middle is a great touch.

    Edit: I have checked it out, and I was kind of put off by all the flickering of the double blocks ( I believe it is called z-fighting ), but since you are making a V2, I don't mind. It looks really clean (so clean z-fighting occurs) and playable. As you have stated in the map thread, you will make some rails to prevent falling off, I think you only have to make rails in certain areas, especially not in the middle, where you have to make a (possibly dangerous) jump to get to the turret towers. I think it looks good.
