Sacrifice is a 2 - 4 player Sandbox variant created in the sky bubble. It is ideal for FFA, Team Slayer, Oddball and King of the Hill. Sacrifice features a large main chamber surrounded by mutiple level walkways and corridors. It has a number of aesthetically pleasing features and provides a fair and enjoyable playing experience. There are only a few pics. It is the type of map where you need to run around to get a feel for it. I could have taken pics of each individual room/corridor but it would still be hard to understand the shape and size of the map. Sweet, this map is amazing, I like the design and the ramp's layout you put into it (curved and bumpy). The cage is create in idea and design and lastly the interlocking looks great, if you can submit this map in atlas if you haven't already. I give you a 9.5/10 for the whole map and 5/5 stars for the threads rating!
You really did an excellent job making this map look unique. I love the 'jail cell' type aesthetics and you clearly took your time with interlocking. If I were you, since you chose to forge it there, if you have items left to expand, I'd incorporate the skybox by maybe adding an outside area or pathway where you may have at least a chance at falling - after all, that's what the Skybox is for. As I'm on vacation, and I've used up all 8 of my DL slots for now, I'll save this thread and come back after I clear some room.
Hi, thanks guys. Wailingjam, im going to put it on atlas wen i have more feedback, dont want to risk it just yet. H3C, thanks for comments, yeh took very long time, a few hours everyday for nearly 3 weeks. Originally i planned to have three main chambers all connected via the small walkways but the max item limit got me and i had to rethink the whole thing cheers for great comments guys
i beleve this is how a map should look. you clarely didnt spend less than 10 hours on this. great interlocking dude. 5/5
Nice map. I love that main chamber with the dip in the floor and the ramp curving up the side. I certainly hope that this map plays just as good as it looks. Hopefully soon I'll be able to play it with some friends. The aesthetics are wonderful, they had better be for all the time you've spent on it. After doing a quick run through in forge, I saw that there were no starting points. I suggest you put in some starting points on the various gametypes just to keep teams spawning together at the start of a game in a controlled manner. You don't really want one blue guy to spawn in front of the entire red team while his team mates spawn in relative safety. This is something I believe you should fix in the future.
The map looks great! I love the bar aesthetic (btw, I'm wondering how you did that)The interlocking is awesome with the bumpy fllor and it looks great overall.
This reminds me of the stadium thing from one of the colossi from Shadow of the Colossus (great game). I love your use of the 'Wall, Slits', they make the map look very professional. And I love the cage bar looking things. The layout is very unique and the aesthetics are amazing. I'll DL this.
Although the jail cells are copied from another map, i like how the scaffolding is the perfect shape etc for jail bars, thats my personal favorite for this map. The merging and interlocking in this map is very well done. 5/5
I love the layout man, the look is amazing, yes the jail bars are from a different map iv seen them before but still this looks awesome. A very fun ffa map i bet. You have my dl and a 5/5 for the uniqueness and the techniques used.
cheers for comments guys, regarding the interlocked scaffolding, my friend AJw34307 discovered it and said i could use it in my map. sorry AJ forgot to mention in main thread.
