This is my first Sandbox map based around egyptian buildings and ruins with a large geometric floating baselike structure in the middle. With a full sized (as big as i could get with the same blocks) and tomb, ceremonial temple, and spiral staircase you can customize this for any type of game you want. The four floating central bases could be used for assault and flag games. Climb to the top and get as many flags as you can! It is hard to but jumping to these bases is possible. Overview Center Floating base Top Bottom/ Middle Jump at an angle like you are going to land on the edge! Middle base again Left building/ Spiral staircase to temple 1 Pyramid!!!!! (and sacrificial building for your killing pleasure) Inside the tomb. Those hammers fell agian.... Okay new images should be good now. Now due to the large amount of blocks and stuff in this map, i was only able to put in about 8 or so spawns, and you will have 4$ for any editing you want. If you personally want to add weapons or anything like that i would sugest you delete some of the stairs for the spiral staircase- you can still get up with half of them missing. I would rather have each person change how they want to play the map, i allways did! I would go in, play it as is, and then go back to change the weapons, spawns and what not so it was how i liked it. So that said i am doing the same for everyone! Now you can just download this map as is, go in and explore, and then make any game you want! So here is my egyptian asthetic map! Whoa I love the Egyptian style buildings, but gameplay doesn't seem great here. Still, good job dude.
If I were you I'd make a game type for this map, like an infection game called Mummies or something like that. Besides that the map looks great, and you even focused on little aesthetics like the opened sarcophagus. 5/5
This has great forging, well use of sandbox's abilities. Though the gameplay seems to lack a little it seems like a good map. 8/10
That is what i want to try, have blocks or levels of the pyramid spawn later and at different times, so you have to last until your pyramid is built up. I may have to see how that works out with this map, or with just the pyramid. Hopefully it works...
this looks like it could be an interesting assault map. is there any hallways in the pyramid or is it just one room? i have to say from the outside, it is the cleanest and smoothest pyramid ive seen on sandbox. only thing to improve about outside of the pyramid is it looks like it is taller and thinner than it should be. try widening and shortening it some. aesthetically, this map is amazing with the spiral staircase and pyramid. i think adding winding, claustrophobic halls in the pyramid would be a wise idea. then you can place a bomb/flag in there that the team from the middle base thing has to get to.
the maps in the aesthetic category should only be graded on looks not gameplay. But gameplay suggestions im sure are fine. nice map looks good. Only thing is the name of the map Tiki in my mind and i know for a fact has something to do with Hawaii not egypt. AlthougH i may be wrong. Anyways it wont affect ur score----8.5/10
